Steam community down? error?
Hey whenever i try to connect to the steam community via the steam program i get this error: Error Code: -109 Failed to load web page (Unknown Error) And when i try to connect to it thru a web browser i get the unable to connect error. YES I HAVE AN INTERNET CONNECTION SO DONT ASK STUPID QUESTIONS. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY. NO BULL SH*T
Will steam slow down my computer?
So i was going to ask if Steam will slow down my computer at all. Never had it on a computer before because I've always been afraid that it would. Also from the steam application itself, would the game DayZ slow down my computer. The computer that i am using is a macbook pro 2013. Thanks to all that help.

Is it me or "otome-style" visual novels are flooding Steam right now?
1. I'm sorry you're feeling left out but there's really plenty being made. Just look at all the BxG being supported by Sekai Project, most/all will eventually go to Steam. And there are others, like off the top of my head, there's Heart's Under Blades and Culina: Hands in the Kicthen. I imagine once they're closer to completion they'll look to release on Steam as well. Plus there are more BxG games available in English than GxB games. Many of them just aren't on Steam because they have sexual content and can't/won't remove it so it can be released on Steam. GxB games almost never have sexual content which is why going to Steam is never a problem. But, again, if you look in other places besides Steam you can find more BxG games that are ready to play right now. 2. I can pretty much guarantee that if you ask an otome developer why they added a GxG route, they will say it's for people who like more diversity/actual lesbians. I promise you those are definitely not made for guys. And, honestly, I'm not convinced that isn't a joke as I have trouble believing someone could seriously come to that conclusion.
Steam problem with friends list?
Ok, so today I was playing Modern Warfare 2 single player and I noticed when I opened steam in game to look up something, I saw my friends list and it said the servers are down, And I know that was normal, then it came back and my friend messaged me and asked if multiplayer mw2 is down, and I said I thought so because I saw the servers were down which happened before, but now I looked at my friends, and it said I have no friends on there, and the chat I had opened with my friend said his name but it didn't have the profile pic and it said "[unknown]". The Steam community wouldn't open for me either, and I added my brother again and it worked but the rest of my steam friends are gone. BTW, since it didn't say I got the achievement for beating campaign on Veteran, will I still get it?
Recentely 24 hrs fitness just shut down their steam room and Sunna from 11pm to 5:00am.?
It's a health administration thing. A new law was passed that no pools, saunas, or steam rooms can operate 24 hours. Pools must run 6 hours with no one in them to give the chlorine time to kill bacteria. Sauna's now need to be turned off and scrubbed out, steam rooms must be shut off and dried out. It started four years ago when a scientist/dermatologist in Austria discovered that some of his clients were getting a skin fungus and traced it back to a sauna room. He then explored others..and now you know how we are being affect. Sorry! At least you know that when you do walk into a sauna, pool, and/or steam room that it's clean!
Can you backup games off steam in case it shuts down permanently?
Rolling over laughing Who ever said stream was shutting down, are fools, Stream is the biggest games studios, They have stated that they will not be writing games for windows 8, and they are porting their games to Linux, which is good for Linux Gamers, so are Valve games studios.
