Would a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S7 Active still be water-resistant?
Yes the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be still water resistant because whether it is in refurbished condition or in new condition it will still be helpful in protecting the smartphones from water damages or any other problems. The Samsung S5 has a removable battery.The Samsung S5 is waterproof with an IP67 rating.It relied on ensuring the back cover was firmly in place (a pop up would remind you on powering up). There was a thin rubber seal that protected the battery compartment.It also relied on internal rubber seals around the buttons and a rubber plug for the charging port, although technology seems to have moved on from that particular requirement with the S7 having an intelligent charging port that detects moisture.

Dear Junaid!S5 is the most feature rich smartphone I have ever seen and had the pleasure of owning!The Samsung Galaxy S5 has an USB 3.0 port which facilitates 10 times faster data rates than the conventional ports!These are used and can be seen in high speed portable devices and hardisks !It also charges your s5 2 times faster when you charge it from a USB 3.0 port with a USB 3.0 cable!The USB 3.0 port is backward compatible. So there should be no problems charging with the regular mirco USB chargers like that of a NOTE 2!cheers!

Lifeproof says the case should be able to resist water ingress 1 hour at a depth of 2 meters (6.6 feet). Therfore, it should be safe to take it in the shower with you, BUT... As with anything that is water resistant, the seals may degrade, become damaged, or otherwise lessen the case's water resistance over time through normal use, so you'll want to be careful. Water resistant cases - even highly water resistant cases like Lifeproof - are not waterproof and are not water resistant indefinitely. Finally, I apologize, but I can't resist being snarky for a moment. Do you need to take your phone into the shower with you? Are you not, well, showering while in the shower? Even in the case of a public shower such as a fitness club or gym, there must be lockers to keep your phone safe for 5 minutes while you're indisposed, no?

Yesterday my mobile (Moto G2 ) fell into full bucket of hot water. This question aroused after this happened to me and now I’m writing this answer through my mobile only! (which is working in same condition it was before ) . so how did happened !!. So ,if your mobile fall into water , first thing first , immediately switch it off .if you can take its battery out, so do so ,otherwise in my case , I wasn’t able to take the battery out so switch it off immediately as the water penetrated into the phone can short-circuit the component if the phone is on and current is flowing inside it .now place your phone into a drying agent , the most common drying agent (soaking agent ) available with all of us is dry rice or uncooked rice . place your mobile covered into rice for 24 or more hours as dry rice are good absorbing agents as they absorb whatever moisture left inside your phone . You can also use silica gel to dry your phone .Precaution - never blow dry your phone with blow dryer or heater as they can fry components of your phone . Don’t do such silly mistake .After 24 or more Hrs you can switch on your phone and I’am definitely sure you can use your phone as it was before .Why your phone is not working after all this - this is because your phone was in water for more time ,this let the water penetrated deep into the phone; it was not possible to absorb the moisture after all this remedy also.What should you do even if your phone is not working now also - immediately rush to the nearest mobile service store :)#underoot41
