How many people still play on Xbox 360?
I have repaired my Xbox 360 multiple times to keep it from dying. Both out of choice and the fact I simply can not afford a new Xbox One.(I own a Arcade Xbox 360)I was given this by my Dad in 2012, he was given this by his friend who’s son didn’t want it. I was so happy to finally have an Xbox i didn’t care that the disk tray was dodgy or that some of the case was cracked and broken.The fact that i still use it as my main console is more because I am poor than that i want too. All my friend moved over to Xbox One two years ago. I don’t even pay for Xbox live anymore as i have no one to play with other than my brother. He doesn’t really play it online anymore.I adore my Xbox 360 still and I will always play it. Never the less, I would kill to be able to upgrade to an Xbox One. It sucks having to be stuck in the past.Update: I was bought an Xbox One X for my birthday. Still taking loving care of my 360 though.

xbox one has better graphics and more features. though, xbox 360 still has a lot of great games that are not backwards compatible on xbox one yet. so, if the 360 has more games you want to play that aren't back compat yet, then get that. otherwise, get a xbox one s.
Can a flashed xbox 360 still play regular xbox 360 games?
Well modded firmware removes the security checks so you can play "backups" as they call them. But also you can play original games and so on! Inc is wrong about that certain types of firmware are unbannable, that is the biggest pile of **** I heard this week. You can get banned with EVERY modification. Some are harder to find then others yes but but it only takes one bad rip and you are flagged. The firmware itself can't be read from the drive..obviously. But the games can be ripped bad and that is what Microsoft that pick up. Also certain behavior in games that be sourced to cheats only able through modded consoles. Take the 10th Prestige hack in MW2, you require a JTAGGED console to put the altered games unto the xbox 360. And that shows up easily enough for Microsoft to ban you. So moral of the story if you do the flash or the JTAG, you are in the way of a banhammer train.. and you never know when it comes your way.

Yes however most games that are going to be released for the xbox one, the company is also releasing playable versions of some of these games for the 360. Eventually it will come to an end as all things must. Especially with the cost of the xbox one dropping with newer models being released and the newer generation of gamers wanting the best 360 is a dieing breed. They will still be making games because its not dead yet.
Is buying an Xbox 360 still worth it in 2018?
I just want to start off by saying that I own an Xbox one. I'm familiar with backwards compatibility and game pass. I just prefer Xbox 360 more for personal reasons. I'm still wondering if its still worth it this year and the years to come. I really want to buy one again but I don't want to if some things is going to happen to 360 servers soon.
