Is there a difference between being "frank" and being "candid"? If so, what is it?

Frankness defines a sense of openness and honesty in someone where "Candid" is used in a context where you'd call the person more unreserved or forthright. The term  frank has a "sincerity" context where "candid" has one which applies some level of impromptu nature. There's very little difference in the actual meanings of the words and they're usually used interchangeably, but it may change according to the circumstance at hand. For instance, using candid in the sentence- "She was remarkably candid about her sexual encounters." is more appropriate than using "frank".On the other hand, "She looked at him with frank admiration" is much more suitable than using "candid".

What is the difference between but and yet in English?

As conjunctions, but and yet are interchangeable. One is often substituted for the other to avoid repetition, as in this sentence:Many, many people here share these thoughts, yet nobody can say anything. But I’m saying something. This has the same meaning as,Many, many people here share these thoughts, [but] nobody can say anything. [Yet] I’m saying something.Using one or the other in both spots would also create the same meaning, but it might sound repetitive.

Is there a difference between "Moslem" and "Muslim"? If so, what is it? Serious answers only, please.

No difference in definition. "Moslem" was used until the 1980s, after which it wasn't used as much. "Muslim" is preferred, because some people pronounce "Moslem" as "Mozz-lemm", which sounds similar to the Arabic word for "oppressor", "Za'lem". It's not as close to the Arabic word, anyway, unlike the spelling "Muslim". Many English-speakers pronounce that "Muzz-lim", though in Arabic, it's closer to "Mus-lim" (with the "u" being the "oo" in "foot", and the "i" the same "i" as in the word "it", and the s as an as, not a z.) I think that pronounciation sounds better, though a little time spent studying Arabic might've biased me there.

Is there a difference between Bluetooth 4.0 and Bluetooth Low Energy? If so, what?

Bluetooth Low Energy was previously called Bluetooth Ultra Low Power, and in early 2001, was WiBree. “Wi” for wireless, and “Bree” for Bree in the Lord of the Rings. Bree was the town where the two major roads, the Great East Road and Greenway, crossed. Bluetooth Low Energy is an "always off" technology. It transmits short packages of data and is not able to support audio streaming. It is perfect for devices like a heart rate belt, mouse or keypad.Bluetooth Low Energy is a part of Bluetooth 4.0. A dual mode device like a smartphone is able to support classic Bluetooth (BT) and Bluetooth Low Energy at the same time. Your smartphone could be connected to a Bluetooth 2.1 headset and stream audio, and at the same time be connected to a heart rate belt or other sensors on your bicycle.Single mode devices like the heart rate belt will run in the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) peripheral mode and the smartphone will run in the central mode. In the classic Bluetooth this is still called master and slave. In the new specification, BT 4.1 we have the hub. You will find such a hub in a smart watch for sports. The watch will work in the central mode in direction to the heart rate belt and other senors on the bike and in peripheral mode in direction to the smartphone. Professionals will not carry the heavy smartphone while riding the bike and will collect the data in smart watch. The watch will work in the peripheral mode during the transfer of the collected data to the smartphone. Often the data will be forwarded to a tablet or laptop. Windows 8 supports Bluetooth 4.0 as a dual mode device (classic Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy). Android 4.3 and higher could support BLE. Not all Android devices on 4.3 are able to support BLE, just support classic Bluetooth only. Apple iOS has supported BLE since the iPhone 4S exists. On Linux, the protocol stack BlueZ got an update to support BLE as well. The update does not mean that all Linux devices will support BLE now. BLE has a higher modulation index and needs 2 MHz bandwidth instead of 1 MHz like classic Bluetooth. The other reason is the very fast time of BLE for pairing and reconnecting. BLE needs 6 ms and classic Bluetooth up to 6 seconds! Older BT chips will be too slow, thus unable to support the 6 ms BLE.
