Is There A Limit To The Amount Of Friend Safaris You Can Have On Pokemon X And Y

How do you get across the white bridge-like things in Pokemon Emerald? In the safari Zone?

Yes you use the Acro Bike.

To do the trick, it might take several tries. (it took me about a minute on my first try)

First ride the Acro Bike to the farthest you can go. Then, simultaneously press B and the direction the next 'white bridge' is in. For example;

land |............................ | land
land |----------------X...........| land
land |...........-----Y...........| land
land |...........-----Z...........| land
land |...........------------------| land

if the dashes are the bridge (the periods are the ground under the bridge), and you're the farthest you can go on the X bridge, press Down and B at the same time to get to the Y bridge. To get to the Z bridge from the Y bridge, press Down and B at the same time to jump from the Y to Z. You must be riding the Acro Bike at all times.

If I was in this situation, this is what I would do: ride the bike over X to the farthest point, then press Down and B like crazy until I'm on the bridge under Z. After that, you'll be on the other side. This isn't required to complete the game, but you can find one of the two rare Pokemon, Pinsir and Heracross, one using the Acro Bike across this bridge, and the other using the Mach Bike going up the Mudslide part. Both are very rare, and run easily as well.

In Pokemon X/Y, how many can friends can I add per safari type? Add Me and leave friend code 1607-2790-2998.?

Each Friend will have a safari each, holding 3 pokemon. The third pokemon is unlocked when the friend is online and has beaten the elite four. You only need to unlock it once though, so they dont need to be only for you to always find the third pokemon

Here's a list of the possible pokemon available in the friend safari's depending on their type

How important is perfect IVs / IV breeding in Pokémon?

So, to put it in perspective: 1 IV point = 1 point on that stat at lvl 100. When your pokemon levels up, it usually gets, on average from 0-3 points on any given stat. So that means that two lvl 100 pokemons, one with all 0 IVs and one with perfect 31 IVs would be comparable to fighting a level 100 against a level 131. That's 31 more levels that you can be higher than your opponent when factoring IV's. I mean, I'm sure you wouldn't go against a level 81 with your level 50. Of course, at level 50 which is where most competitive battling on the actual games happens this difference is significantly less, but this gives you an idea of just how important they can be.However, I usually don't like worrying too much about them. Without a perfect IV ditto, it's really hard and time consuming to breed perfect pokemon, so I just don't worry about it. I personally think that Natures are way more important, since 10% boost in any stat is usually higher than what IV's will give you (especially if that stat is high in the first place, which is what you should be aiming to increase in the first place). An extra 10% plus EV's will give your pokemon a strong enough push to be effective in their roles, even without the IV's. So you can enjoy competitive aspects of the game even without IV'sOf course, if you want to play in a tournament or something, then yeah, make sure you have the IV's because then the difference will be really significant. If you're playing just for fun, don't worry too much about it.

What do you think is the best method of shiny hunting (most rewarding, fastest, most fun, etc.)?

It really depends on what you enjoy, and whether you’re good at it.There are 7 methods that stand out, however.SOS method (Sun/Moon/USUM?). This method not only allows you to get shinies with a maximum 1/683 (with shiny charm) chance, as well as maximum 15% HA chance, and maximum 4 perfect IVs. Plus, it’s really easy to get the Shiny Charm in Sun and Moon.Friend Safari (X/Y). Set 1/512 chance, 2 perfect IVs guarunteed, you can focus on 2 or 3 Pokemon, and you can get HAs if you have been on at the same time as the other person. Yeah. It’s awesome.PokeRadar (DPPt/XY). Available in Sinnoh and Kalos, you can get up to 1/200 odds for each patch if you can get yourself to a chain of 40. And, in Sinnoh, you can keep going after you get the shiny. I’ve seen cases of someone getting 10 shinies in one chain. If you can bother to learn the rules, it’s extremely rewarding. shiny charm doesn’t influence these odds btw.Chain Fishing (XY/ORAS). Limited to Pokemon that you can fish up, but you can get up to 1/200 odds at a 40 chain. Just keep fishing. Just keep fishing. Just keep fishing, fishing, fishing… not sure whether the charm influences these oddsHordes (XY/ORAS). Encounter 5 Pokemon at a time. Each one is rolled with the normal odds. That’s 5/4096, or 5/1365 with shiny charm.DexNav (ORAS). The odds are not agreed upon by all shiny hunters, but we know it increases your odds, either by a set amount, or it increases with search level and chain milestones. And you can choose which Pokemon you want to hunt! Also not sure whether the Charm influences the odds.Masuda Method (Gen 4 and onwards). Just get a Ditto from a country with a different national language, and you’re set. Even though you need to hatch the eggs (which can be a nightmare), you get 1/683 odds (1/512 with the charm), which is really nice. You can also make competitive ones if you want. You can get 5 or 6 IV Pokemon with good natures really easily if you do it right. And yeah. Shiny on top of that is awesome.Of course, if you’re thinking of ‘rewarding’, that’s all up to you. Full odds means you know the shiny is ‘rarer’, but these methods can be more ‘rewarding’ if you’re just wanting a shiny. It all depends on what you think is ‘rewarding’.
