Is There A List Of Formulas I Need To Memorize For The Ib Math Sl Exam

I have only 20 days for my exam how should I study?

20 days.. peak period but don’t worry half of the students study in this days only .1 . Prepare your mind and fully concentrate on study you have only 20 days and timer is on tick tock.. tick tock2. Make timetable (its very important and intial part) and strictly stick to it .3. Divide the subject and give it a time slot . like in 4 days you wil complete this subject any how . If maths is your one of the subject , do it daily 1–2 hour . It just need practice .4. Take interval in between and don’t try to read each and every sentence , study that much part only which is needed ..5. 20 days is enough to prepare for school exam . It just you give your 100% ..All the best . .

What is some advice for the IB Mathematics HL paper 1 and 2?

Best advice I know would be to not skip anything. Mathematics is an area of study that very much build one topic upon another topic. Make sure you understand thoroughly all the foundation concepts before moving on. If you pass a course and yet don’t thoroughly understand all its core topics, make sure you seek help to understand before moving on to the next level class. If you ground yourself in all the mathematical subjects thrown at you, leading up to these IB tests, you’ll have no problem I assure you.

IB subject choices help, not sure what to do (check comment)?

First of all, I didn’t even know that taking a 7th subject is possible, given that all IB scores are out of 45..and universities take your score, out of 45.If you really want Visual Arts as a subject, I would recommend taking it as you should really study what interests you…and i’m talking from personal experience. I got the highest marks on my higher level subjects and lowest on my standard level, and that is mainly because I enjoyed the subjects I took at the higher level….Before anyone starts claiming that I picked easy highers and difficult standards, I had Math, Physics and Chemistry HL, with English, Economics and French SL. Literally the holy trinity of difficult HL subjects…If you are open to re-arranging your subjects, I would strongly advice against taking both History HL and Psychology HL as they are extremely heavy on the writing aspect. I took Econ SL and probably wrote 8 pages or so, for paper 2 of my final IB exam. I know that History students wrote way more than me….and they have paper 3 as an HL student. If somehow, you ended up with those two exams on the same day, or consecutive days, that’s just the death of your hand…Don’t do it to yourself!Unlike John’s answer, I would recommended keeping English at the higher level as their is almost no difference between SL and HL in literature, so it is essentially a free HL subject for the effort of an SL. Likewise, unless you really enjoy Biology, I would not recommend taking that HL as the amount of memorization is much greater than SL.Something to consider is that 4 of your subjects have a lot of memorization -English HLHistory HLPsychology HLBiology SLYou must memorize things to do well in these courses. You will not get a formula sheet like maths where you just need to know how to apply the formula. You must actually remember that the treaty of versailles was signed on the 10th of January 1920, or that the smallest particles in the lungs are called Alvioli, or Sigmund Freud’s exact quotations. You can’t BS your way through like you can with physics - as long as you understand physics, you can bs your way through long answers. If you have any specific questions, feel free to message me!Rohan
