Is There Any Detector That Could Help Me Find A Lost Diamond Earring

Can a metal detector locate my diamond earrings?

I do not think that a metal detector will work. Maybe a really nice one would. Perhaps the thing to do is to calm down so you don't smash it into the earth. Then, get a magnifying glass and get on your hands and knees just like Rick Moranas in Honey I shrunk the kids. Be patient. If you KNOW they are there, they will be there. Do not check in the morning or the dew may sparkle like your earrings. Check on a dry day in the middle of the day or right before dusk. That way, the sparkle will catch your eye.

Have a dog? Don't let them outside or they may eat it.

If these were really expensive or are very special too you, the drastic thing to do is to let your lawn die, set small controlled fires, and the only thing left should be your earrings.

I did that once to literally find a needle in a hay stack.

How do you find a needle in a hay stack? Set the haystack on fire.

I hope that you find it soon.

Any tips on finding a lost diamond earring?

- If there is a trash can beside your bed or your boyfriend's bed, I would look there first.
- Take the bedding apart, slowly, piece-by-piece and gently shake each out.
- If you have wood floors, use a Swiffer over every inch of the floor (under bed, under dressers, etc.)
- Carpet..walk around barefoot, get down on hands and knees, or use a dust buster (you can dump contents out into bag to search through)
- Also, shake out your sleepwear and/or what you were wearing the day before you noticed the earrings were gone.
- Pray to St. Anthony!!!
I'm currently going through a similar situation - I cannot find a bracelet that is extremely important to me. I will be so sad if I never find it! Good Luck!!!!

Tips on finding a diamond earring in the grass!?

Well, if you can't get ahold of a metal detector, you could go to home depot or somewhere like that and get one of those great big magnets, (take your other earring just like the lost one and see if it is attracted to the magnet) if it is attracted to the magnet, buy the magnet and then you know whats next! On your hands and knees for a few hours separating grass and waving the magnet over it! Good luck! PS: are you sure the bird didn't swallow it? Keep an eye on him/her for any physical health changes, monitor her food intake, droppings, energy level, etc.

How do you find a lost diamond in the grass?

My friend lost my $600 earrings and ipod?

I dont know if she stole or lost them, but shes my best friend and a few months ago she begged for me to let me let her borrow my $600 dollar earrings. I told her she can, but has to give them back to me. So after a few weeks later, my mom was asking for me to wear them but I had to give her an excuse because my friend had them. Now, a few months later (I know, I forgot about them) she told me that they where in one of her purses, and we both searched every purse she had and they werent in any of them. My mom has been freaking out over them because Ive had them since I was a baby. So today I brought them up again and she said "My mom even remembers me giving back to you," and i know for a fact she never did because I would of found it by now. And also, we started bringing ipods to school and she always kept them in her bag and brung them home with her. She lost both of them, I ended up finding hers in the "bag search" but now mine is missing. She says shes 100% sure she doesnt have either and now im really f**cked. what do I do? How do I find them at her house? Shes also my best friend and I cant start any problems with her. I know she wouldnt steal them but she always wants to borrow my brand name clothes and I never want to give them to her because im scared she loses or damages them. I cant let her repay for my earrings and ipod so.......

Do metal detectors find gold?

Yes, metal detectors see gold as a low-conductivity metal quite well.Recreational metal detectors often mistake can pull-tabs as gold items because they have similar conductivity and ferrous properties and therefore sound very much like gold. This is why many metal detecting hobbyists never discover gold - it requires too much effort digging the pull-tabs first!

Did anyone find Kim Kardashian-Humphries $75,000 earrings lost in Bora Bora?

I wish and I was thinking the same thing! Maybe in the upcoming episode they'll find it. Ecspecially since she could easily drop a cool $1000 or two to pay a whole search team to go down there and scuba dive at the bottom. If the earring was actually $75,000, it would be worth it. Of course there's always the possibility that someone on the search finds it and decides to pocket it knowing Kim has plenty of money but it's better than sending no one and knowing 100% you'll never see it again.

Kim shouldn't have blamed Kris for her earring loss, because even though he did toss her in, she was jumping into the water on her own.

How can I find a lost wedding ring in tall grass?

All is not lost! Keep the faith! If you are aware of the general area where the ring was lost, there is a way a metal detectorist can find it.One of the essential tools of our hobby (as far as I am concerned) is called a pinpointer, which we use to show exactly where the target is that we have found (normally with a metal detector).I carry a length of PVC pipe in my vehicle for just such searches. I tape my pinpointer to the PVC pipe so that I don't have to bend down all the time while searching as the pinpointer is only about ten inches long; it also stops me coming face to face with those delightful snakes and other creepy crawlies we have here in Australia. It is definitely a longer process than swinging a coil across great swathes of short grass; however, it is a tried and tested method when unable to use a metal detector so please be patient.Try to find a detectorist who owns a pinpointer that can discriminate out ferrous material, otherwise the task will become tedious to say the least, as the pinpointer will sound off on all metallic objects. If it is possible to cut the long grass, then do so. However, if using a weed eater or mower, you stand a chance of moving your ring out of the search zone.I do hope you have success with your search. All the best, Chris.
