Is There Any Kind Of Texting App That Doesnt Require Your Contacts Similar To Kik Messanger

Does kik work on an international data plan?

I am traveling to England this summer for two weeks. Texting is expensive so my plan was to use kik instead. But my question is if it will work internationally. Please help!!

Which is the best IM (instant messaging) app: Skype, Line, WhatsApp, or Viber? Why?

I will let others detail the features and values these deliver…Skype used to be a P2P voice app (with chat), which transformed into a client/server chat app (with voice). Since Microsoft has bought it, the quality has drastically lowered, specifically on Linux.LINE is big in Japan, like WeChat is big in China. These are platforms more than chat-only apps, as they propose some extensive e-commerce features.WhatsApp is simply number one in the world, so you benefit from the network effect.Viber has been bought by Rakuten, since then no significant change, we’ll see.Overall, except Skype, all these apps are all part of second generation of instant messaging, much like Google Hangouts/Talk, KakaoTalk, Telegram, the defunct ChatON, Hike, Kik, and probably Facebook Messenger. There are plenty more. The third generation of instant messaging is growing fast and is very innovative, with group chat at the core, full text search, integrations and bots. Let’s quote Slack and HipChat as leaders, but also Zulip, Otalk, Kaiwa, Mattermost, Let's Chat, Rocket.Chat.You can read more on “Welcome to the third generation of Instant Messaging!”:Part 1: 1st and 2nd genPart 2: 3rd gen, summary tableAll these apps will surely fight for more visibility and market share, if not viability ;-)ICQ has been the leader of the now defunct first generation of IM. They fought to stay relevant, adding features of the 2nd gen. Too little too late, they are now between life and death.Like ICQ, most of the 2nd gen apps will add 3rd gen features. The line will be blurred.

Does Kik charge for international?

If I text someone in Canada and I'm in Texas, would that charge me? I know it won't over WiFi, but I use 4g also and it should be unlimited data so there's that.
.
and another question. In a week I'm supposed to be going to Kansas and I would still like to message my friend in Canada. Would it still charge me then?

What is the best instant messenger app? On either IOS, Android, or Windows Phone. What in your opinion is the best instant messaging app? Kik, snapchat, Facebook messenger, Viber, WhatsApp, Line, WeChat, etc.

In case of Instant messaging apps, I have tried all the above mentioned apps and I think Whatsapp is great in all as it has its own uniqueness. But When I was Using whatsapp, meanwhile I got to see an advertisement on internet titled” best instant messenger app as instant as you don’t have to require any phone number or email id to register”. Once in a mind I thought I should try it but suddenly a question raised in my mind that Is it really Possible? If it is, then how can it be secure? First time I had seen such type of Chatting app with such type of unique concept which do not require my any personal info. It was something wonder for me. If it doesn’t require any personal info about me to use this app so there is nothing about worry to feel insecure. At the end I tried this app named “CUapp” and it was surprised for me. Really I had provided nothing to use it and after that I am using this app continuously and It has all the features like Voice call, HD video call, secure chat. The main thing that make me to trust on this app was if in future any cyber attack will be there, I can lose nothing because I have shared nothing. So Instant + Secure both features I got in this single chatting app.
