Is This A Good Ballad I Want To Know If I Will Get A Good Grade On It.

Good ideas for a ballad?

The core structure for a ballad is a quatrain, written in either abcb or abab rhyme schemes. The first and third lines are iambic tetrameter, with four beats per line; the second and fourth lines are in trimeter, with three beats per line.

The second ingredient is the story you want to tell. It can be about you, someone you know, a relationship, or an experience – good, bad, triumphant, or tragic.

To begin, sketch out the tale. Don’t worry about beats per line, rhyme schemes, or stanza breaks. Simply write the story you want to present as a ballad. Once you’ve written the narrative, pare down the length and strike all words that don’t drive or describe the action. This bit of editing will make the conversion process much easier.

Guitar chords/tabs that will work for this korean ballad?

The song is played in the key of A major with the primary chords of A, D, E, C#m, F#m, Bm, down to E, and back up to A.

You will need to listen carefully to the nuances of the chord changes in the song. It's a lovely song by a lovely singer using a capo on her guitar. There is little need to concern yourself about the tablature. Simply learn to form and play the chords I've shown and you should be able to duplicate the song.

Power Ballads are like rock or hard metal songs that explore the love or heartbrake theme

What is a really good song you know that seems like nobody else knows?

This answer might change depending on my mood or what I’ve been listening to lately, but for right now (and a while) it’s “Erica,” by Terry Reid. Reid is best known as the lead singer who turned down Jimmy Page when the guitarist asked him to join this new band he was forming out of the ashes of the Yardbirds—which would eventually be known as Led Zeppelin. Reid was a composer and singer, and a good guitarist himself, and wanted to focus on a solo career. It was Reid, in fact, who suggested Page check out an unknown singer named Robert Plant. He also suggested he check out Plant’s drummer, John Bonham. That alone should make the rock and roll world eternally grateful to Reid, and, while his solo career never exactly took off, he’s had a long life in music (he’s still active) and he produced some really good things under the radar, with a few real gems, such as this achingly lovely ballad. And this one:Page did his research well. Reid had a hell of a voice, with a range that could cover ballads and screamers. If you want to imagine what Zeppelin might have sounded like with him singing, listen to his terrific cover of Donovan’s “Superlungs My Supergirl”:It all worked out for the best for Page, Plant and Bonham—and the rest of us—but it’s a bit sad that this fine musician never really got his due. Plant himself has been quoted as saying he thought Terry Reid was the best singer around at the time. No small praise.Honorable mention (and somewhat related): Also out of the ashes of the Yardbirds, lead singer Keith Relf formed a band called Renaissance (no relation to the folk band who would later take that name). Relf was a terrific songwriter and a good musician himself, which he didn’t get to showcase very much in the talent-heavy Yardbirds. Renaissance released two very good progressive classical-rock albums with Relf, to little fanfare. The first, self-titled, LP, released in 1969, contained a song called “Kings and Queens,” which was definitely as good as or better than most of the progressive music around at the time. It’s a long composition, but accessible and definitely worth the journey.

Need a good popular broadway song and a ballad to sing for an audition!!?

Allrighty, a good popular song you could sing from Broadway is So Much Better from Legally Blonde, My Strongest Suit from Aida, Defying Gravity or Popular from Wicked or Out Tonight from Rent. If you're amazing, try Over the Moon, also from Rent.

As for ballads:
I don't know if you want a Broadway ballad, but in any case, British actor Oliver Tompsett has a few wonderful ballads he's written himself. Yeah, he's a tenor, but you could update it yourself. As Long As I've Got You and Superman are my favorites. Told You So, by Jesse McCartney is an awesome ballad as well. Ooh! One Song Glory from RENT!

Good luck:)

How can I start writing a ballad song that is so good, it gets likes on YouTube?

Short answer? You can’t. There is no magical formula that will get a song hundreds or thousands of “Likes”. If there was, then thousands upon thousands of people would be getting record deals, grammy awards and making millions of dollars. There is however an art form or “method” to writing songs. But like anything else it takes time and practice. Especially to write GOOD songs! If you want to write to make money as a songwriter you can do that. But it takes a mindset that is different from someone writing just because they have no choice. Thats the difference between an artist and a commercial artist. Neither one is particularly bad. They are just different. I should know. I have been writing songs for many years now. I actually teach the art of songwriting. If thats somthing that might interest you, send me a PM. All the best.

What are the best Korean ballads?

Modern ballads are fine and all, but the real gold is in the oldies! If you want to really understand K-pop and why Koreans still hold onto ballads as a popular music style, you have to go back to original stars of "ballads." I think understanding the history of any music is very important, and Korean music is no different! If you try to appreciate the beauty of the music made by these artists, they will definitely become some of your favorite singers!!Shin Seung Hun wasn't the "Emperor of Ballads" and undisputed No 1 balladeer in the 90s for nothing! He writes his own songs; his music is great; and his voice and his way of singing is to die for! (You can also see current stars performing his songs on Immortal Songs!)보이지 않는 사랑 - 1991미소속에 비친 그대 - 1990I Believe - 2001Immortal Songs (Jung Joonyoung, ALi, Sandeul, Shin Yongjae, Kim Sohyun & Son Junho, V.O.S, Led Apple)Lee Mun Sae was from the 80s, but much of his songs are the sad, slow songs we now classify as ballads. He didn't write his own songs like Shin Seung Hun, but he was famous for the poetic verses of his songs. He's not the best singer ever, but he expresses emotion well with his unique style.사랑이 지나가면 - 1987가로수 그늘 아래 서면 - 1988소녀 - 1985

Are there any Broadway Ballads for female altos?

I agree with the prof except that I wuld take you back further than Sondheim -- Cole Porter has some great ballads for altos and one that doesn't get done a lot is "Down in the Depths (of the Ninetieth Floor)" about a woman who has the blues in her penthouse apartment. Also wonderful is "The Laziest Girl in Town," "I Love Paris," "You Don't Know Pa-ree," and "Love for Sale." "There Are Worse Things I Could do" is overdone; if you don't hear an audible groan from the director when you start, just know that he groaned in his mind! But on the flip side of that coin, it is always heartwarming when you hear the intro to "Maybe This Time." Also "You Can Always Count on Me" from City of Angels, "Nobody Does it Like Me" from Seesaw I think, "All I am is just a Housewife" from Working, and "Losing My Mind" from Follies.
But, do the research; that's half the fun -- finding an original soundtrack of Gypsy, reading the script, etc. Have Fun!
