Is This A Good Idea To Create My Story

I have my idea for a story but I'm not a good writer. Are there any tips I should take into consideration when writing?

Read books by celebrated, talented authors and take notes on their style. Take a writing class. Blake Charlton, a very talented author, recently started a writing workshop. I believe Stephen King has done a few seminars on how to write as well.Study grammar and language. It's difficult to follow the rules of your language if you don't know what they are.Join a website for writers, post frequently, accept constructive criticism, and read and critique other people's work. Most importantly - write frequently. It doesn't have to be good, and it doesn't have to a lot, but write every day if you can. Stephen King once said that if you can write 300 words a day, in a year you have your first draft of a full length novel. The more frequently you write, the more your writing style will evolve and the more comfortable you will be with your writing.

Need Ideas! Creating a Short Story with a Chase Scene! PLEASE HELP!?

Sounds like you need this for a contest entry or graded paper... If that's the case you should probably have an original idea.

Anyway, I won't go in depth with anything but here's some more basic ideas:
- chasing your shadow
-chasing your dreams
-chasing something on a treadmill or conveyor belt and going nowhere

That's all I can really think of that might be considered "out of the box." Best of luck.

When starting a novel, is it good to create an outline of ideas or just to write the ideas into the story and hash it out later?

Either way; it's up to you. An effective outline can take weeks to assemble, and I was several weeks into writing when someone 'suggested' using an outline. My novel is fiction based on real people and events, so I already knew the beginning and ending; a formal outline wouldn't be much help. I have a section in the front of the manuscript called 'Notes' where I put ideas and things I might want to add later. I also created a 'table of contents' for my own use and created empty chapters to fill in later. For example, a 'Church' holding place was filled in later when the 'young protagonist' wanted to go to church, and the 'hero-savior' took her. Another is titled 'Jeep' for when the hero taught the young child to drive a Jeep on a trail and mud run. Early on the child dreamed her druggie mother and boyfriend would die in a fire, so I made a place holder for 'Burn in Hell.'Yet another idea was bookmarked for a chapter titled 'Zonked & Bonked,' when the mother traded sex for drugs with an anonymous young man in the back of a junker car, and nine months later when the girl was born in that same junker on the way to a clinic. Each of those ideas turned into ten to twelve page chapters, of which there are 66.I've taken several creative writing classes and read several 'how-to' books, but my greatest inspiration comes from reading the works of other great writers. I keep a pencil and notebook handy while reading. If you are a smart writer you will 'edit' your story on a regular basis, as you write. When I do that, I always think of something to add. But, the downside is, my novel is now at 190,000 words--630 pages.Good luck with your writing, and have fun with it.

Is it really a good idea to create a landing page for a service you are going to offer to see if people will give out their emails? Is it a good way to ask how much they would be willing to pay?

Yes it is a very good idea to create a landing pages for services that you offer.  It is also a good idea to create several landing pages for each service and then A/B split test the pages to see which one converts the best.  Landing pages can be a good way to find out what your customers will be willing to pay. However you may also find that by providing valuable information that explains the benefits of your service, you will have a better chance to turn them into a loyal fan. People are much more willing to give you their email address when they feel that you are going to provide value to them.

Photo Story ideas anyone?

My girlfriend has to create a photo story for a photojournalism class. I did the same thing last year, and i did my photo story on a day of canoeing.

Basically it is just a story with photos. For example:
A photo story about eating at McDonalds would go something like this.

A photo walking into the store
A photo of ordering
A photo of sitting down
A photo of eating
A photo of leaving
etc.. you get the point.

For the project, it has to be more pictures than just that many though, and I'm the one who's interested in photography so she asked me to think of an idea.

Anyone have any ideas of something you could do a photo story on?

I need some good ideas for writing a fairy tale story...?

I have to create my own fairy tale for my french final (so it has to be in french obviously) but every thing i think of is already a story
so far i have a princess who lives in a castle far away. she is treated like a maid, especially by her mean step mother. she constantly wished to escape the duties of her horrible life. her step mother would never let her leave the castle (this is roughly translated from french which is why it doesnt sound fantastic but you get the idea)
i know it kinda sounds like Cinderella but i already started writing it so idk what else to do
i also need a moral so if you could throw out some ideas to add to the story and a moral that would be awesome

thanks in advance :)
if you could answer this as soon as you can that would be awesome
