Rudra: It is one of popular baby boy names in India. Mostly because of the movies.Though its a lord Shiva name, the literal meaning of the name is Angry (There are more meanings but I wont mention as many people have selected this as their baby’s name)The reason it is one of Shiva’s thousands name is because Lord Shiva is know for his Anger and Rage towards evil and bad.Considering only Lord Shiva relation, it is a good name. But only as a Sanskrit word then I personally do not think its a suitable baby name.Its parents choice what to consider while selecting a proper name for their baby.

Don't saddle your child with a common name spelled as if you were an illiterate on crack. Your child has to carry that around forever. Be kind in your choices. In my career, I have seen some really stupid names:Jahahn - pronounced JohnPlacentia - because the mother heard the doctor say placenta and thought this sounded goodK'lb - pronounced CalebLet a child define his or her own uniqueness. Don't try to define it for them by saddling them with a name that requires more attention than the child does.
