Love story plots/ideas?
You can be stuck on a technicality in your story. You can be stuck on a character name and want to ask for help. You can even be stuck on coming up with a title and needing a little bit of inspiration. But you can't be stuck on a whole "good" plot...and ask for help. That's the job of a writer! You have to come up with your own plot! What you're asking for is similar to a surgeon holding a scalpel above a patient's chest and saying: You know what guys, I know perfectly well how to give this guy a heart transplant...but just remind me how to hold this scalpel first. It's essential that you come up with your own plot. That said, I understand how difficult the process is, and how you know you can write, but you're stuck on ideas. My best advice is to just write. Pick something in your own life and go from there. If you overhear a conversation, take it and run with it. I really wish you all the best!
Good story plots?
There are a ton of story generators online: http://www.springhole.net/writing_rolepl... http://www.seventhsanctum.com/index-writ... Use those to spark an idea in your head. You could also take a traditional fairytale and give it a modern spin. What if the Little Mermaid was captain of the swim-team, and she fell for the captain of the football team? What if Cinderella was the only poor student at a prestigious academy for rich kids, and she didn't have money for a dress to wear to prom? What if Beauty and the Beast were teen lesbians? What if the Princess and the Frog was about a nerd who tricked the most popular girl into doing his bidding for a whole month? Coming up with your own idea is better in the long run, because if you write something that inspires you, you are more likely to stick with it. Good luck!

How to write and come up with good story plots?!?
Hey guys, I find it difficult to write good story plots but when i do come up with something it sounds stupid. My writing genre is mostly surrounded by romantic comedy, forbidden love and dark secret love; That type of things. Any advice on how to create and come up with good story plots? Thanks :) Xx
I have great ideas but I can't write the story?
I have great ideas for stories. And I'm not just saying that, I've actually had people tell me that they're really good ideas. Despite my age (17), I think that I'm pretty good at coming up with well-developed characters, as well as interesting characters and plots themselves. But I can't write a novel. I'm not a bad writer, when it comes to school stuff. I'm great in English class, and in writing essays. But I've tried at actually putting my stories on paper, but I suck at describing the imagery in my head, and actually deciding what is necessary to say, that sort of thing. I want to write these stories so badly, but I don't want to butcher them in the process. I do feel like my ideas would be better suited for a movie, or even a videogame. What do I do? I don't want to see my ideas go to waste.
What should I do if I have a phenomenal fantasy book/story idea? I have the plot and idea, but have average writing skills and no resources.
There are all sorts of resources online- so there’s part of your problem solved right away! :) If you have a phenomenal idea, start working it out. I like to start by writing down the general plot, then expanding the details until I feel I have enough information to start the book. Then, go from there!Read a lot, if you can (good books, mind).. It will help improve your vocabulary and give you a feel for quality writing. Find a writer’s forum and hopefully some beta readers with it so you can get tips and opinions as you go- but do be careful about sharing your full ideas with others. It’s not uncommon for people to steal ideas before you’re finished writing them.At any rate, don’t let average writing skills stop you. Use this idea as a chance to get better. Or, if you really don’t want to go through with the effort, maybe look for a ghost-writer who won’t mind writing your story.
I have good ideas but I can't write well!?
I was poor in English too. It turns out that doesn’t matter. You are not trying to outline a perfect sentence, you are trying to convey a thought. Put words into the mouths of your characters the way you would say it yourself. Keep your exposition to a minimum and make it simple and straightforward. Don't overwrite, show the readers, don't tell them. And—ABOVE ALL—practice. Write scenes with your characters. The more you practice, the better…and easier…it will become.
