Is This Build A Good Gaming Pc Build For Its Price And Will It Perform Well

Trying to build a budget $700 gaming PC. Is this a good build for the price?

I’m quoting Flowey from Undertale: “That’s a wonderful idea!”I’ve done it! Here’s my build:FireDFL's Completed Build - Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB, SPEC-02 ATX Mid Tower - PCPartPickerMy advice for you:Change the i5–6600K to an i3–7100, the motherboard to a cheaper B250M motherboard, and the RAM to 8GB. Then purchase more storage and a better video card. The reason I have slightly advanced components then what I am recommending you is because I occasionally do some video editing and rendering.

May be a bit over the top but you say you want the best :P

Would this budget gaming PC build work well?

Bro you are getting a PC lil' bit better than my PC:CPU: I5 8400GPU: GTX 1060 6GBPSU: 450WRAM: Vengeance 8GBHDD: 1TBLet me assure you mate, it is an awesome build and will run any of the game on max settings @1080p60 but coming to 1440p you may have to tweak down some settings. But if 1440p is really your thing, I would suggest you spend few more bucks and get RTX 2060 or GTX 1660 Ti. Also you may need an SSD if you are not comfortable with the looooooong boot time in windows 10.Otherwise, believe me, close your eyes, and go for it!

Would This Budget Gaming PC Build Work?

I have a similar build to yours, except I’m using a Ryzen 3 2200G and an RX 570. Not quite similar as you might think, but I’m able to run GTA V maxed out at 1080p and get around 60 fps.1 TB SSD is a bit overkill, I’d recommend getting a 2 TB HDD and a 240 GB SSD to store Windows and any other important files on it. Everyone’s needs are different, so feel free to change the capacities. But 1 TB SSD? Overkill for a budget rig.I would recommend getting the Ryzen 3 2200G over the i3 8100, as both chips are identical in performance but the 2200G is much cheaper. However, if you want Intel, go for it.8 GB of RAM is not going to be enough in the near future. I have 8 GB in my rig and I’m already wanting more. For example, Forza Horizon 4 is a game that requires a ton of memory. I don’t know if it’s just me, but whenever I try to launch the game, it crashes once I’m 30 seconds or so into the game. Get 16 GB of RAM, however, if your budget doesn’t allow it, get 8 GB now and add another 8 GB once you have the funds to do so.The RX 580 will keep you happy for quite some time when gaming at 1080p. Like I said before, I have an RX 570 and I can run all my games on high settings with consistent framerates. I’m more than happy with what my card has been giving me, so I’d expect you to be able to run all games on ultra with ease.As for 1440p, I’m not so sure. Don’t look into 1440p with an RX 580, especially if you’re gaming on a budget. 1080p is more than good enough for today’s needs. That’s all for now. Best of luck when building.

What are some good, well budgeted gaming PC builds that can play Squadron 42 and Star Citizen?

Enlist - Roberts Space Industries (that is $35 off).

How much does it cost to build/buy a decent gaming PC?

Depends on what kinds of games you want to play.My current rig ran me $1400. (4.1ghz i7, 32gb ddr4, geforce 1060 6gb GPU, SSD, 3tb drive, liquid cooling, gold rating power supply) Shes an adorable giant monster, and runs great for 3d rendering as well (plus I got a nice big case, so I can hide behind her).I’ve gone into detail on this on other questions before and had people pitch absolute screaming fits insisting that you can build a great gaming machine for around $400. Technically true, although I wouldn't touch some of the games i play right now at the settings im running with some of the parts they’ve listed (and wouldn't trust some of the sellers listed either).Really, though, you can build one hell of a nice machine in the $1k to $2k range if you’re careful with what you put into it. I’m sure you can build an acceptable rig for less, too, just… it will take a lot more in depth knowledge and fiddling (and probably some overclocking).

Whats a good gaming PC that can run Fortnite and Apex Legends or just any high end game without a problem for a price thats not too expensiv?

INSTRUCTIONS UNCLEAR: ORDER BANANA?

Generally when you ask about finding a gaming PC, a CRITICAL ITEM that many people will want to know is WHAT YOUR TARGET BUDGET IS? Without this information, you're going to get a vast range of systems that vary between cheap, but seriously underpowered to overhyped system with an overblown price tag to match. You also forgot to mention if you're looking for a laptop OR a desktop, which can affect costs as well. I know you may not want to hear that your desired system may be unattainable, but at least you would know what to shoot for in funds. With that (all-to-common) rant out of the way, let's look at system requirement objectives.

Using System Requirement Lab's website ( https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cy... ) & reviewing the noted games... Apex Legends is currently the most demanding, but it's not as demanding as PuBg. For desired specs (running with Recommended Requirements as a guideline), I would have to go with the following:

* Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 1060 (3 GB) or better; AMD R9 290 / RX 570 or better.

* Processor: Intel Core i7-7700/HQ / i3-8100 or better; AMD Ryzen 3 1300X / Ryzen 3 2200G or better

* RAM: 8 GB or more (16 GB recommended)

With those baselines, we can examine systems.

With Dell, the starting price points will be around $900 for desktops & around $1,100 for laptops for the desired specs BEFORE DISCOUNTS.

With HP's OMEN series, desktops will be going for around $1,050 & laptops around $1300 BEFORE DISCOUNTS

Even NXZT's Let's BLD service won't go any lower than $1,000 for a desktop.

You might be able to look elsewhere for better prices, but this is a reasonable focus. If you're willing to build your own system & venture into the secondary market for components, you could scrape by with a $500 budget... but it might be too much of challenge for your to attempt.

Hope this helps!
