Is This Line Is Correct

Which is correct, "read in between" or "read between" the lines?

No one can say exactly correct, unless you used them in a sentence! They, their definitions, are both correct on their owned funtions or usages, but, if you want to differentiate the two with their literal meanings, here we go!A. Let us assume that the two lines are both sides boundaries of a roadway. Then, let us put or scatter the alphabet letters anywhere along the road. Now! Read all letters in between the lines or bounderies. - now you know the meaning.B. Let us make 3 lines parallel to each other with egual distance, line a,b and c, let us have big letter “0” and place at the center of the line A and line C. Now! Do you read the letter “O” between the lines of A and C?In metaphorical or allegorical meanings read in between, shows a referee or umpire or a judge in between the two fighting forces to metigate the friction between the two. Whether the referee is just or unjust. It doesnt matter!Between the lines, however, it requires you to become fair or unbiased. You have sound jugment and rational concepts. You are a rightful referee here!

Is this single line of dialog correct?

It is technically correct, however as it stands it seems quite vague, and there is an ambiguity as to whether 'near apartment 25' refers to 'someone' or 'photo'.However, what other answers seem to ignore (and this is one of the biggest problems I encounter when people approach these type of English questions) is that there is almost definitely a surrounding context, and this sentence is not a lone-standing item but rather an extract from a larger text. That context may help to lift the ambiguity from the sentence and shed more light on to what is really going on here.Secondly, that ambiguity may be part of the mystery or was deliberately put there in order to make the reader question the text for themselves, or make them question their own interpretation of such a text. If this is the case then yes, the sentence functions well and is correct. If that is not intentional and the surrounding context does not offer any more information as to what is meant by the sentence, then there are a few good examples in other people's answers for alternative sentence styles.Hope this helps! :)

Which of the point-slope equations below is correct for the line that passes through points (2,1) and (3,-4)?

Also
Which of the point-slope equations below is correct for the line that passes through points (2,7) and (-1,2)? Check all that apply.
A. y -2 = 5/3(x -1)
B. y +2 = 5/3(x +1)
C. y -7 = 5/3(x -2)
D. y -7 = 5(x -2)
E. y -2 = 5/3(x +1)
F. y +7 = 3/5(x +2)

Which of the point-slope equations below is correct for the line that passes through points?

Substitute both the points in all of the equations, whichever equation(s) satisfy both of them, are correct, or, you can find the slope of the line passing through the two points. The formula is,
Y2 - Y1/X2 - X1, where (X1,Y1) and (X2,Y2) are two points. In this case the slope of (-2,-2) and (2,1) is :-

1 - (-2)/2 - (-2) = 1+2/2+2 = 3/4

The point slope form of a line is y = mx + c , bring it to that form, and the coefficient of 'x' will be the slope and if it is equal to 3/4, then it is the correct equation.
