Where can I download a vocals only version of the song Boston by Augustana?
I mean like....I want the song, sung by Augustana's lead singer, but I do not want any piano in the background, just the vocals. I did not see it anywhere on iTunes.
Which version of the song "Apologize" is better? The one by Onerepublic or the one with Timbaland?
OneRepublic sings on both tracks. The difference from the one with just them and with Timbaland is a beat and Timbaland making weird noises. If you like the music and the beat with it, buy the OneRepubic and Timbaland version. If you don't need the beat, buy OneRepublic only version. By the way, I prefer the OneRepublic only version because the Timbaland noises disturb me. If he didn't do that, I'd go with the "both" version because the beat IS hot.
Is there a version of the song "Homecoming" by Kanye West & Chris Martin WITHOUT Kanye's vocals?

How Do You Create a INSTRUMENTAL Version of a Song?
There are four ways of getting an instrumental (backing track only) of the song. 1: With the original multi-track studio recording. (never happen) 2: If the artist releases a backing track only version. (extremely unlikely) 3: If a cover band releases a version as a karaoke disk. (if ever) 4: With a vocal remover program. (free but very iffy result) Audacity 1.3.7 beta version has a vocal remover function but how well the vocal is removed depends entirely on how the song was mixed in the studio. The vocals, drums and bass are usually in the center of the mix and therefore common to both the left and right tracks. A vocal remover removes the common content from a track so you'll lose not only the vocal but drums and bass as well. Remember I said it's iffy. Some people have reported a good result but they're the lucky ones. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ You just click, hold and drag to highlight the whole track then select vocal remover from the effects menu. You file needs to be in wav, mp3, Ogg Vorbis or aiff format. The program does not recognize any others.
