Is Yahoo Mail down for everyone or just me?
The number of people asking this today suggests that a server is down somewhere. There is nothing on the suggestion board as yet. Just try again later seems to be the only choice.

Is that rumor circulating again? I have Yahoo Small Business email and hosting for websites. None of what you say is happening and none of it was given as a warning. Likewise, Yahoo gave their hosting to an India company which didn’t do well, so they took it back and began hosting sites again. Again there has not been anything sent to us about shutting down email and they won’t do that without a warning. They have 5 buildings in Sunnyvale, CA (San Jose) and lots of employees and lots to lose if they ever did that. We’d sue them and wipe the company and the homes they live in, if they ever did.This sounds familiar - is this that same Trump threat he’s been tossing around at Americans again and again. We’ll all be happier when he’s all gone. When he leaves, he will write a book but all of it will be BS. Have fun with Trump’s rumor book. That apparently will be all the entertainment needed for small minds.

Your account isn’t assigned to a particular server, and if that server dies, you’re out of luck. Load balancing across multiple servers, with your account available on plenty of servers, makes sure that doesn’t happen. If one server goes down, your mailbox simply loads from another machine.

How can i keep my old yahoo mail i dont like this new mail i need to down load it?
Can I have my yahoo mail back or must I look for another. This classic or whatever it is , is sorry. Steve
