Why are my Yahoo Group emails going to the members spam folder?
I'm very worried that our Project #8 did not reach anyones inbox from the Yahoo group. I will resend it now through Google cuz I know that works, but what the heck's going on at the Yahoo group? do you have any idea? I don't have any idea - so I'm turning to the Community for help. Why ARE our yahoo group emails going to spam? Does ANYONE have any idea of a setting that needs to be checked off or something. These projects are extreamly important to our group. We switched over to Yahoo because starting in Jan. 2011 Google will no longer support our files. Now that we've switched, we're having more and more headaches then ever! We even have sign in headaches this is one sample email I got: I just tried again to access ***** site and was unable to do so. I got the message that it is for members only. When I went to sign in, I got the message that the page could not be displayed. Tried troubleshooting and still no good. Very frustrating, as you can imagine. Can I somehow start from scratch? How do I do that? I'll appreciate your help. I'm anxious to get going on the next projects. Thank you, Karen any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
How do I set Yahoo! Groups to send text only (no HTML) email?
"Are you saying that Traditional is not plain text?" Exactly. There are HTML portions in even Traditional mail. I'm looking for what I once had. At one time, even if someone sent an HTML formatted message to a group, I could, and did, configure my settings to strip out the HTML and only receive the text portion. Now there doesn't seem to be any setting I can find for a group member to have Yahoo! Groups strip out the HTML portion before sending it to me.
Pissed off at Yahoo Mail?
Okay so yesterday I was trying to check my email on yahoo(using Firefox) and it wouldn't let me in until I told it to upgrade to the new one. I've looked all over the web to try to get it back, but couldn't find anything. Is there any way to get back to the Yahoo Mail Classic? I've tried a url link, disabling Java/Javascript, lowering resolution to minimum, and going through my.yahoo.com and messenger and NONE of it seems to work. Please help I love the original Yahoo Mail and I despise the new one. If there is no way is there a way to change ALL of my online accounts(game sites, forums, etc) to a new email and what email is the closest to Yahoo Mail Classic?
How can I stop getting invitation emails from Yahoo! porn groups?
those smut groups have been working over time with invites. of course you didn't give your e-mail address, however addresses become exposed during many things we do online and that's where they get it from. use an alias whenever possible. below is how to prevent it, along with the abuse form. if you send the abuse form and report it, include the mal header; Yahoo will delete the group for TOS violation and in fact the invite feature has been changed due to these group owners. more than likely you'll get no reply from Yahoo other than an auto reply however when I've reported these invites when I've gotten them, I did get a general reply and I kept the invite and clicked to view the group; it was deleted. Is it possible to block email from a yahoo group while staying a member?
I don't think anyone's getting it yet. I'm not talking about changing my current groups' settings. I'm talking about changing my email settings to mass block everyone who is not on my contacts list. The messages get sent to the groups, then from there they go to me. I don't reply to any of the groups' messages through email. If I want to reply, I post on the groups' forums. My reasons for wanting some groups' messages sent as email are private and only reading those message at the groups' page or in daily digests are not valid options for me. Would I really need to add the email address of every member to my contact list? That is completely unreasonable. Couldn't I just add something like this? Neo yahoo groups unusable?
I too am having problems with my yahoo groups, sure wish they would have left them alone. They were working fine before the changes.
How does one change their Google account's primary email address? It seems to be an issue. Are there any clues or workarounds?
