How can I track my switched-off Samsung Galaxy?

First have you called your mobile plan store? Check with them before you start to panic anxiously behave irrationally k? Most of the time when you can't find something it's obviously simply misplaced and been waiting on you. I've learned that valuable lesson in a painful way. If U CANT or it's actually not possible to locate that particular phone. And If the sim cardsout it's REALLY difficult. Unless of course it's in someone's possession that u already are aquaintted with, then u could even try looking for devices id #. But how badly would you want it back? Unless, it's a phone that's neen handed down to you from a prior generation. I'd say cut your loses. And I think everyone here at least has has the tradegy of losing personal priceless and irreplaceable pics. Yea, that sucks so in the furture back those priceless timeless pics up on something more reliable than a portable and also losable mobile communications device.

Which phones are better: iPhone or Samsung Galaxy?

It completely depends on you. I’m going to break this down into different sections for you:This answer is specific to me, people will hahe different opinions, I respect that, please respect mine, it’s a free country Hardware:Samsung is light years ahead of Apple when it comes to their hardwares. Samsung phones rip iPhones apart when it comes to hardware specs, the RAM, the megapixels on your camera, the storage, some of the now so common features like face recognition and fingerprint scanner were introduced by Samsung long before Apple followed suit.Winner: SamsungSoftware:What’s the use of a hardware with the best specs without the tools to run it. Sorry Samsung, this is where you loose out. iOS, hands down is the winner by light years. It’s easy to use, complemented by its ability to hang a ‘little less’ ( iOS 11 is the worst update I’ve seen) than Android makes it MY favourite.Winner: AppleIt’s a battle between the hardware and software now. It totally depends on what you want.Apple phones cost too much, but if you look at the flipside of it, It is rumoured that iOS 12 will also support iPhone 5s, a 5 year old phone. Let’s say, the rumours are false, it did get the iOS 11 update, it still being 4 year old phone. Android stops supporting your phone after 18 months of the release. If you are someone who buys phones for a long run, in terms of hardware, you’ll be behind, but atleast Apple offers you the recent software.Secondly, let’s talk penetration of the new updates, Apple reported that over 80% of IPhones were running the latest iOS updates compared to less than 10% of Android phones which were updated to its latest version. The reason behind it being that different manufacturers add in their different skins onto the OS, which delays the upgrades. If you are running the Vanila version of Android, like on the Pixel or Nexus, you’d be the first in line, however if you have a phone belonging to another manufacturer, good luck with that.iOS on the other hand has no manufacturers in between, hence if the updates are released let’s say on the 17th, you’re most likely to get it that day itself.I used to be an Samsung fan, but when I switched over to Apple, I find it difficult to get back to Samsung, Apple boasts a customer retention of over 90%. You got to give them credit for that.Again, this answer is based on my views, I have nothing against Android or for iOS, it’s just my personal experience. Cheers!

How does Samsung's FindMyMobile work?

Hello, I didn't use any new Samsung phones but I used this anti theft featuresin Samsung Wave 2 and Galaxy y. This system uses both the SMS and Internet which ever is possible.Using SMSWhen you setup the anti theft system it asks for the phone number(s) to which the alert message is to be sent. For ex if you're using number 8989898989 while setting up it will register that number and ask few more. So when ever sim is changed it will check if the device is using the earlier number (8989898989) and if it's changed it will send a alert message of the sim in use (ex 7878787878) to 8989898989 .Using InternetWhile setting up it asks for Samsung account, using which you can trace location of the device if it's connected to internet and GPS activated.Sorry if I made any mistakes, and also for my poor English.Note: if the phone is reset to factory settings using PC or key combination then it's not possible to trace device.Even if the sim is not inserted it can be traced via internet and Samsung account.

Is there any hidden features for the Samsung Gear S?

Not really. Of course it depends on what you consider "hidden". But I can tell you some stuff that was a good surprise for me:- holding the screen with 2 fingers will give you to the "open apps".  Here you can switch between them or close them, swiping to the left/right.- 2 taps with 2 fingers will give you to a screen with battery, brightness and some general settings.- Swipe from the top part to down is exactly the same as the "back" button in an android device, everywhere.- You can change what you see when you do the "watch the time" gesture (raising your hand to look at the screen) on your watch. Before, I set it to just watch the time in a simple way (this is good for the battery), but then if you press the home button to do something else it will always take you to the clock. You can change this so if you are in endomondo, or you are counting time with a stopwatch, and you raise your hand, you will see that automatically. - You can change the behavior of doing 2 taps on the home button. Probably you don't want  S voice (is pretty horrible). Instead you can put here the stopwatch, settings, or other stuff.-About apps, I would recommend this:    - Watcher: it's the best watch in my opinion. It has 3 modes that you change swiping up/down: normal watch, watch with weather for every hour, and watch with calendar notifications on the bottom. I use this one specially. and It has a color code to help you know when you are busy or when is the next event.    - Endomondo: really awesome, if you use endomondo, you can control play/pause from here and create 3 screens the way you want: with heart rate, speed, time... and you can connect it to a heart rate belt instead of using the really horrible heart rate monitor that the watch has (trust me, it is horrible, never rely on it). The only bad thing is that you still need your phone connected to the watch to use endomondo.    - The music widget: this one is already in your watch, and it's super good, press settings and change the source of your music to the device. Then you can control the music from the watch, volume and tracks. depending on the app you use on your phone you can see titles and cover of the songs.More or less this is what I have. You can go to  Samsung Gear S Forum on XDA Developers to learn much more about your toy. There is some videos about tricks in Youtube too.Have fun!

How do I replace 16GB to a 32GB on Samsung S5?

The only way would be to insert a micro SD card of the capacity that you desire.**EDIT**I found a video on a YouTube channel belonging to ThioJoe with a trick that supposedly doubles storage. I cannot say whether or not it works as I have not tried it.It should be noted that this YouTuber has a history of trying to trick people. Here it is tho:

Why are iPhones so expensive?

Apple is renowned for its innovative products, its sleek hardware design, and, of course, its fat profit margins. That last point is as true as ever with its new iPhone 6, for which Apple is charging more than three times the cost of components and manufacturing.According to a teardown report from research firm IHS, the components and manufacturing cost of a 16GB iPhone 6 cost Apple $200.10. The device is selling for $649 in the U.S. without a contract with a wireless carrier. That gives the device a profit margin of about 69%. The iPhone 6 Plus, which costs $100 more than its smaller cousin, costs just $15.50 more for components and manufacutring, according to IHS. That’s a 71% margin. The biggest expense for both devices is the touchscreen, which costs $45 on the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and $52.50 on the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. The iPhone 6 Plus’s other main selling point besides size is its fancier camera featuring optical image stabilization. That costs $12.50, compared to $11 for the iPhone 6’s camera. An Apple spokeswoman did not respond to an email seeking comment. The figures don’t give a complete picture of the costs that go into the iPhone. Apple also spends money on research and development, software, shipping, marketing, licensing and other costs. But even with all expenses included, Apple’s margins are huge. The company had gross margins of 39.4% in the most recent fiscal quarter, an improvement from 36.9% the year prior. Many customers aren’t aware of the iPhones’ true retail cost. In the U.S., most customers buy smartphones at a steep discount in exchange for signing two-year contracts with wireless carriers. The iPhone 6 costs $199 with a contract and can currently be had for free from many of the carriers if customers trade in an old iPhone toward its purchase. In markets where pricing is more transparent, like in China, Apple has faced stiffer competition. But for rest of the world, following american people is just another stupid thing. There's no need to spend such huge amount of money on device that is costly and you can get better android device with way better hardware in same cost. But again some people consider apple as status symbol and they hardly know use of smart phones besides calling and chatting.Anyways no offense to apple user, that's just my opinion.
