I've missed so many days of school?
You should talk to your counselor and try to figure something out. Maybe you could stay after school and come in early in the morning to make up some days. Do not miss anymore, because there could be a chance so late in the year that you will have to be held back. Every school/state is different, they should try to work with you though. They don't want to hold you back if they don't have to.
I've missed a lot of school but get straight As?
It's not just skipping... I'm usually sick when I miss school. Twice it's been because I couldn't get any sleep at all for some reason and once I just couldn't make myself get out of bed. The other ten (yes, ten) times, I've actually been sick, and five of those ten times I've honestly been sick enough to warrant staying home. Now here's my question. Will I still be able to get credit for courses I'm taking? Because I have all As, it takes me a day or two at most to catch up with everything I miss, and I can easily zone out for a whole class period at school and still understand the homework and get As on tests. We basically learn something then review it for several days (except in my AP Econ class, and even that is fairly easy to catch up on). I get that work ethic is an important factor and school is preparing me for the future, blah blah blah. But I get to things I enjoy (or absolutely can't miss) every time they happen (like rehearsal for musicals I'm in and, you know, my job) even when I'm sick (unless I'm throwing up everywhere or something... pretty sure the frozen yogurt place I work at doesn't want a new flavor based on all my meals from the last day). With school, when I can make up assignments and stuff really easily, and I have no motivation for going (I have no friends at school and don't give a $#!7 about being allowed to go to 'senior activities' or whatever) there are days where I just can't force myself out of bed in the mornings. You will likely have to repeat a grade or you might even get expelled from the school. It depends on where you live, but your mom might actually face jail time and monetary penalties. In California, they call it 'contributing to the delinquency of a minor'. That's why your mom is aware that you can't be missing that much school. It's actually even possible that your mom could lose custody of you and Child Protective Services (CPS) would place you in a foster-care home. That wouldn't be any better than your current situation, would it? On your end, another consequence of you being a truant is that you might not be able to get a driver's license. After all, if you can't attend school, how can you be trusted to responsibly drive a car? You really do need counseling, and you shouldn't make a pre-decision like "I doubt this will work!"
I feel sick, but i've missed a lot of school, should i still stay home tomorrow?
i'm feeling really sick to my stomach, like nausious or however you spell it. i miss a lot of school for stupid things and i'm afraid that my mother is not going to believe me if i tell her i feel sick if i still feel sick tomorrow morning. should i tell her tonight that way she knows its not spur of the moment attempt to get out of school, or tell her tomorrow when i'm sure if i'm gonna be sick. right now i don't feel like i could go to school tomorrow, i'm also really worried it could be the swine flu because my friend who had swine had diariah and felt sick to her stomach when she had it. please let me know what i should do.

Are the absences excused? If so, you are not truant so you have nothing to worry about. This policy only applies to truancy or unexcused absences.
Has anyone else missed a lot of school because of anxiety/depression?
I'm a freshman in high school now and let me just say it's the worst thing thats ever happened to me. I hate high school so much. I've always had anxiety problems but ever since high school started it got SO much worse. I'm going to see a therapist now, but I don't think its helping. I've missed probably most of the school year by now, and it practically just started. I am so depressed and I really don't know what to do anymore. I know if I keep missing school my mom might get in trouble but honestly i CANT go to school. I'm not trying to make excuses either. If I could go to school everyday like a normal kid I would. I have school phobia and I'm physically unable to go to school. I try to get up and get dressed for school, but I can't even do that. I have anxiety attacks every night and every morning and its just so terrible :( I came from a school with 150 kids . Now I go to this high school with 4000+ kids in it. I don't have any friends, and I'm most likely failing all of my classes right now. Is there anyone else out there like me? What do I do?

Make sure your parents have you on Independent Study, that is when you teachers assign work to be done at home. You parents will have to turn it in every 5 days, but it does not count against your missing school. You dont say exactly how much school you have missed, but if you have done fairly well in your classes, you say except for math then you should be fine. But you will need to take your finals, so you should try and get to school to get the notes to study. They will probably make you go to summer school and or take the class over again next year. A 46% means you were probably having trouble before you got sick, so your parents/you can not use your illness as an excuse for failing, and math is one of those subjects that if you dont use it daily, you forget it. Sounds dumb, but have your mom check to see if there is a tutor like an ROP student for math. Atleast if you make a killer effort these last few weeks and on the final, the teacher will pass you..
Will i get kicked out of school for missing lots of days?
Yeah about two years ago, when my anxiety dissorder started to get worst, they called CPS on us. And they said the school was not right. I have an educational lawyer aswell. I've had problems with my school district before. They honestly don't care about the kids all that much, i know it's their job, but they don't. I am pleading with my school to get me a tutor so i can get caught up, but they won't allow it? It's all of my anxiety problems that create me to not come to school. I was also written out for three months because of it.
