Sexy swing/jazz songs?
That's a little rough, just because most swing/jazz tunes are about falling in love or having a good time. But here's a short list of songs that come to mind: Fever - Peggy Lee Big Spender - Peggy Lee The Mooche - Duke Ellington Harlem Nocturne - Johnny Otis Love for Sale - Vivian Green Big Long Slidin' Thing - Dinah Washington Long John Blues - Dinah Washington The Clock - Davina and The Vagabonds In the 1950s and 1960s, however, Jump Blues or early Rhythm and Blues, had A LOT of dirty tunes. Here's some inappropriate jump blues tunes, that you might like too: Work With Me Annie - Hank Ballard Rocket 69 - Todd Rhodes Wasn't That Good? - Wynonie Harris Drill, Daddy, Drill - Dorthy Ellis It Ain't the Meat - The Swallows Let me Bang Your Box - The Toppers Big Ten Inch - Bull Moose Jackson Sixty Minute Man - Billy Ward & The Dominoes Anyway, I hope that helps!
Name of old swing/jazz song?
Lol, not even close, but I think I know what you're thinking of. You're thinking of the end of the movie "Swing Kids" where the singer sings "Bei Mir Bist Du Schon" (it's German). You can find the song on the soundtrack to the movie, sung by Janis Segil. You should also look up the older/original versions sung by the Andrews Sisters. Lyrics: Of all the boys I've known and I've known some Until I first met you I was lonesome And when you came in sight, dear my heart grew light And this ol' world seemed new to me You're really swell, I have to admit you These are the expressions that really fit you And so I've racked my brain, hoping to explain All the things that you do to me Bei Mir Bist Du Schon, please let me explain Bei Mir Bist Du Schon, means you're grand Bei Mir Bist Du Schon, again I'll explain It means you're the fairest in the la-a-a-and I could say bella bella, even sir-ir wunderbar Each language only helps me tell you how grand you are I've tried to explain, Bei Mir Bist Du Schon So kiss me and say you understand Bei Mir Bist Du Schon You've heard it all before but let me try to explain Bei Mir Bist Du Schon, means that you're grand Bei Mir Bist Du Schon It's such an old refrain and yet I should explain It means I am begging for your hand I could say bella bella, even sir-ir wunderbar Each language only helps me tell you how grand you are Re-dee, re-dee, re-dee, re-dee, re-dee, re-dee I could say bella bella, even sir-ir wunderbar Each language only helps me tell you how grand you are I've tried to explain, Bei Mir Bist Du Schon So kiss me and say that you will understand... Anyways, I hope that helps!

Please help!! What is the jazz/swing song about time passing slowly (or fast) when you're in love?
Hopefully, it's from one of the best jazz cds out there. This jazz song may be something by Bob Dylan. Try Bob Dylan, he produced some jazz material. The title might be "Time Passes Slowly". I looked up the lyrics and it led me to Bob Dylan. Bob Dylan did embrace jazz and swing music. Good luck with your search!
A good jazz/swing song to sing?
Pick a favorite tune by Ella? That's hard. Here's a couple of my favorites, that I think are great for singing. Too Darn Hot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhs3Qklz5... Them There Eyes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7siMDAGKi... Honeysuckle Rose http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8l_rhHlnd... When I Get Low I Get High http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o2ufe11IpI I know you want an uptempo tune, but I love Ella's version of Mack the Knife where she forgets the lyrics but keeps singing anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rx2YSOcbFCs I also love her version of "I Can't Give You Anything But Love" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJmqOfcqVg0 That one's probably my favorite. Anyway I hope that helps.

What are the best jazz/swing songs to dance or listen to?
Oh man! That's mighty open-ended. The short, easy, and perhaps glib response would be "whatever makes you want to dance (or listen)." A better answer requires more detail - What kind of dancing do you want to do (random gyration? lindy hop? balboa? collegiate shag? Carolina shag? West coast swing?)? How fast do you want to dance? How much do you want to improvise? How experienced a dancer are you? What's your objective in listening? Relaxation? Energy? Background noise? Assuming (big assumption) that you want to do lindy hop, which is what most people think of when they're asking about swing jazz, and that you're a fairly new dancer (or otherwise you'd know what music you like), you'll want something that's not too fast and has a clear beat, a catchy melody, and vocals. Something like Ella Fitzgerald's "Smooth Sailing," Louis Armstrong's "Hello Dolly," or Count Basie's "All Right, OK, You Win" (with Joe Williams). To relax and listen, probably slower and no vocals. Something like Ray Charles' "Rock House," "Basin Street Blues" of Oscar Peterson's "Easy Does It." To energize and listen, probably up tempo. Maybe Benny Goodman "Bugle Call Rag," Basie's "Jumpin' at the Woodside," or Lionel Hampton's "Lavender Coffin" (not actually that fast now that I think about it). Happy to get more detailed if you could be more specific.
