Just Got My Tongue Pierced Yesterday

I just got my tongue pierced yesterday and woke up with dry blood?

my piercer told me that if i saw blood, it's normal and not worry and that it's just your tongue trying to heal. i got mine done on friday...i haven't bled but i do have that nasty white puss coming out of it a little, but that's normal too

Just got my tongue pierced and can't eat. What do i do?

My tongue isn't that swollen at all and I'm so hungry but every time I try to eat it just hurts so bad. Even soup hurts. I only got it pierced a few hours ago but i need to eat, since i haven't eaten all day. What do I do about this?

I just had my tongue pierced yesterday but I'm now thinking of taking it out...Is it to soon?

Right now its still swollen and I can't eat anything thats not liquid like or talk right. I'm still not use to it and I keep doing something that causes it to really hurt. I have been using a 50/50 mouthwash water solution after I eat something and rinse with salt water morning and night. I'm just seriously reconsidering the whole situation and am thinking about taking it out. If I do take it out, do I follow the cleaning methods that I'm currently using until it heals? How long would it take for it to heal completely? Would I still have to stick to a "liquid diet" until its healed?

The tip of my tongue is numb after I got it pierced?

So I just got my tongue pierced yesterday, I ve had my tongue pierced before and had the same issue. The tip of my tongue is numb and tingly. I can barely feel it when I bite down on it. I m not super worried because I ve heard about this happening to a lot of people but I m just wondering if this is normal? The piercer was really trying to make sure he didn t hit a vein so he pierced the top straight and the bottom a little crooked. Same case with my first tongue piercing because apparently I have a lot of veins in my tongue. It didn t bleed much, and it is very swollen as expected. I just wanna know about the numbness on the tip. Thanks.

I just got my tongue pierced and hate it. Can i take it out?

you can take it out just make you once you take it out to clean it like you still have it cause if not you will get it infected. if you don't like a piercing you can always take it out. like when you eat and drink something make sure you clean it cause food might get caught in it cause your taking it out and you should be fine.. good luck

# Rinse your mouth with salty water as often as you like. The correct proportion is 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt to 8 ounces (250mls) of bottled water. Sea salt can be purchased from supermarkets or delicatessans. Do NOT use iodised salt as the iodine slows healing.
# Try sucking antibacterial/anti-inflammatory throat lozenges such as Difflam ® to reduce the swelling.
# Use a disinfectant mouthwash after eating:

* Biotene ®
* Listerine ®:It should be diluted to a quarter of the usual strength – otherwise the mouthwash will destroy your naturally occurring enzymes and kill the exposed healing tissues.
* Oral_B ®
* Rembrandt ®
* Tech 2000

# If your tongue turns brown or green this is a sign that you should reduce the amount of mouthwash that you are using.

I just got my tongue pierced and my throat is hurting. What's wrong?

I just got my tongue pierced yesterday and everything went fine and I've been taking good care of my piercing but last night my throat started hurting. It's the front of my neck at the base on my left and it's like someone punched me in the throat. It feels like a deep bruise but there's no discoloration or anything. It just hurts when I move my head or touch my neck. I'm not having any issues with my piercing. I have no idea what could be wrong. I'm going to call the parlor if it gets worse but for now I'm just going to figure out what I can. It might just be something stupid, you know? Thanks for your help. :)
