Laptop wont start HP Pavilion Zd8000?
My laptop wont start. It starts to start up then goes to a blank screen with a blinking underscore on the top left corner. I have gotten it to restart using ctrl alt del but it only has gotten as far as my Norton Anti Virus and that just says it is doing some process that takes a long time. 3 days later still nothing. I dont have the windows disks but I think I can get them. Any ideas that could save me having to take this to a computer repair place?

that problem may be cause by very low memory Ram so what u need to do is do a recovery to the laptop the recovery is normally by pressing "ESC" key and then F-10 key do theses step first the recovery might give u the oportunity to save you're data or try to make a clean install of windows 7 (if u are trying to save ur data do a recovery first) good luck

Yesterday, my laptop freezed so i cut off the electricity. Today when i tried to start it, there is a popping sound all the time & it didn't start! It shows me this message: Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem: 1- insert your windows installation disc & restart your computer. 2-Choose your language settings & then click 'Next'. 3-Click 'repair your computer' . File: \Boot\BCD Status: 0*c000000e Info: An error occured while attempting to read the boot configuration data. I tried using my Windows 7 Recovery CD but it couldn't start either!!!!!! Help me Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Gateway laptop NV51B25u wont start up! asking me to insert boot disk!!?
I think my daughter has done something. Upon starting it takes forever on the gateway screen Then turning it on the fan comes on immediately then it says booting then the screen goes black&messages to load disc to boot no bootable device. WhT does this mean can it be fixed? PLEASE HELP!
Windows Failed To Start?????

When i turn my laptop on it wont start up....help!!?
The windows xp starts up then when it should come up with my username there is an application error sign saying "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc15000f). Click on OK to terminate the application." When i do this the screen stays on the blue screen like as if i was to click on my user name but the user icon is not there. It just stays like that and if i turn it off.....this just repeats.... ... .......please can anyone help me!!!
