Let Me Know About This University Is It Real Or Fake

How do I find out if a university is accredited?

You CANNOT trust a school's website. Many diploma mills have made up their own accrediting agencies. So, a school may appear to be accredited, but in reality, they are accredited by an agency they own.

The only true way to make sure a school is accredited is to check either the CHEA website or the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education website.

Anyone know a list of open admissions colleges or university's?

Most US universities will accept transfer students after as little as one term at a JC. It's only certain universities that want you to have more than X credits.

Were your grades in high school okay, or bad? How were your SATs? Or did you not take them? The answers to those questions will help determine what colleges you could get into now.

For example, let's say you didn't do that great in high school, but you did all right. Your SATs are so-so or non-existant. You're doing okay in JC. In my region, you could possibly get into: Dean College, Curry College, Dominican College (NY), Mercy College, Dowling College, Five Towns College, Molloy College, Regis College, Southern New Hampshire University, Wheelock College, and quite a few more.

I don't know where you are, so I can't recommend specific colleges to you. But some around the US that I think you should check out, in addition to those that I listed, are Kent State U, Daytona State College, Eastern Kentucky U, U Texas El Paso, U Texas San Antonio, Northwestern State U Louisiana, Southeastern Louisiana U, Southeast Nazarene U, U Akron, U Toledo, Youngstown State U, Wayne State U, Vincennes U, U Houston Downtown, King College, Weber State U, Utah State U, and South Dakota State U.

A few of these are open admissions, but the rest aren't hard to get into. All are worth checking out. And there may be more in your area.

These are all real, accredited colleges that offer quality educations. It's just that they aren't particularly hard to get into. I mean, Weber State lets in 100% of applicants. UT San Antonio lets in 99%. Neither school sucks.

Is Capella University online a good school?

I am interested in going to school to get a college degree. Because of my working hours I think that easiest way to a degree and work will be to go online. I am interested in getting a bachelors degree in Health informatics. Does anyone have experience in going to school online either at Capella or a different online school and let me know if it is a good experience or not.
