Locked Out Of Macbook Pro.

My macbook Volume is Locked?

No idea what OS version, but if it is an old MacBook (not a Pro), it may be OS 10.6, so my answer is for that....

Restart.

If that doesn't fix it, go to...
yourhomefolder//Library/Preferences
and remove this file:
com.apple.systempreferences.plist

NOTE: All old MacBooks have one port that serves for both audio in and audio out. It switches after you unplug from the port... but it usually takes from 1-10 seconds.

Why does my sound get locked on my MacBook Pro and how can I fix it? Is this a big enough problem that I should be taking it in to the store. It has happened to me maybe 3 or 4 times and I have owned my laptop for about a month.

This answer comes very late, but if you are still having this issue here is what to do:Look in the Sound control panel in System Preferences under the Apple menu.Make sure Input is set to microphone and Output is set to Internal Speakers.Open Audio MIDI setup; it is in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder.Make sure that it is set to Built-in Output.Sometimes these settings get messed up. Adjusting them should fix your issue. If not, try resetting the parameter RAM by restarting and holding down the “P”. “R”. and “Option” keys until the computer automatically restarts itself three more time. Then check the Sound settings again.

ICloud Locked MacBook: How Do I Reset It?

I have an early 2011 MacBook Pro that's been iCloud locked. But when I turn the laptop back on the screen tells me to wait an hour to enter the password. But when the clock counts down there's nowhere for me to enter the 4 digit code.
When I try to boot the laptop in any other mode I get a black screen. Need help. Thanks ahead of time

My MacBook Pro says the hard drive is locked when trying to reinstall OS X, how do I fix this?

My hard drive seems to have failed and per the genius bar, they told em to install OS X. I'm unable to boot my computer from the hard drive right now so I have to boot it straight into OS X Utilities by holding option and booting from the recovery drive.

When I try to install a new copy of the OS X it tells me both the recovery drive AND the primary hard disk is "locked" so I can't do anything to it.....how do I fix this?

Thank You

I locked myself out of my MacBook Air through iCloud?

I was testing out how iCloud's "Lock My Mac" would work and locked myself out. (I was testing it out on the MBA itself. How stupid am I?) It will boot up to the Recovery partition, but shuts back down because "The OS X installation could not be completed." (or something along those lines.) I've tried holding down the Option key and it gives me a screen with a lock symbol on it asking for a password. I know the password and I've entered it and the MBA accepted it. It gives me the option to boot to Macintosh HD, Recovery 10.9, and Windows 8 (because I installed BootCamp). Whenever I select "Macintosh HD," it still boots to the recovery partition. Could someone please help me? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

How do you remove malware from a MacBook that locks you out?

Answer from CNET:Bypass and reset the password on any Mac in no timeYou may start to freak out if you ever forget the password to log into your iMac or MacBook , but it's really not that big of a deal. All Macs include a built-in password reset tool that is incredibly easy to use.To get started, you will need to restart your computer. Press the Command and R keys at the same time when the grey screen appears and hold them until you see the Apple logo. A small loading bar will appear under the logo. Sit tight as your system boots into Recovery Mode.Click the Utilities tab in the top menu bar, select Terminal, type resetpassword and press Enter. Close out the Terminal window and behind it you will find the Reset Password utility. All you have to do now is select the user account you want to reset, enter a new password or leave it blank and click Save. Then just simply restart the computer from the Apple menu and login with your new password. It's as easy as that.

League of Legends on 2011 macbook pro?

So I am looking at getting a mac and I found a good deal on a 2011 macbook pro 15. Most of the internals were just sent into apple for repair so it is basically new. Anyways it has a 2.4ghz i7, 8gb ram, and a radeon 6770m. Would this hold a constant 60fps in league in intense teamfights? Will this be good for gaming? Thanks for any answers!
