Looking For New Xbox Live Friends

XBox 360 vs. PS3. Right now I'm looking at both, all my friends are on XBox, but I'm also worried about the red ring of death. All the games I want are on both. Help?

The red ring of death (RROD) is attributable to hardware that has since been modified. If you were to buy an Xbox 360 today it is highly doubtful that you will experience the RROD.So now the question becomes what other functionality is important to you?Disclaimer:I do not own a PS3 and I am not a fanboy of Microsoft and I did have a Launch Xbox360 that did experience the RROD.All that said I think that even though there is a cost associated with Xbox Live, I believe that cost is well worth the money. The fact that MS has tighter control of their network ensures a better experience to the end user. Free is nice but you often get what you pay for. From what I have seen, the PS3 edges out the Xbox360 slightly regarding graphics on some games including cross platform games (ones available on both consoles). I am not a graphic 'whore' and so such differences do not weigh in for me as much as game play so for me, its a wash in this arena since game play is rarely affected by the graphical differences between versions.Additional consideration and deeper thought on the topic of cross platform Vs exclusivity should also be performed even though your question states the games you want are on both. I would bet that you could find an exclusive on either platform that could possibly sway your choice but in the end, these consoles have become so much more than a simple game console and a game franchise, while certainly important, is not the only consideration. The battle is on for an entertainment box in living rooms around the world and in my opinion, the game consoles have the leading edge. So, to answer your question, from my possibly biased POV, I would say go with the MS solution.

Can your friends see what your watching on Netflix on Xbox live?

Does it say "so and so is watching ______ on Netflix" or does it jus say that you're on Netflix? Cause I watch anime but I don't really want people to know...

Also, is there a way to hide whatever game your playing? So when your friends go to look at what you're doing it doesn't say anything, or says private or something?

How do you find old friends on xbox live that changed there gamertags?

I created a new account in like years and I wanna find my old friends but I. Think they deleted me as a friend on my old profile , hoe could I find them if they changed there gamertag

How many girls do you have on your Xbox Live friends list?

Ok, here’s the deal. I’m not going to answer your question directly since I haven’t used Xbox for a while and answer for gaming platforms in general. Here are the factsRecent studies have contradicted common knowledge of gamersMore than 50% of the gaming community in the world are girls as of 2014 and is continuing to rise yearlyOnly the guys choose to pursue gaming as a full time careerGirls are generally afraid of stereotypes if they come out as gamers since gaming has generally been assumed to be a guy thingYes, i was shocked when i found this out too but it is getting higher every year but few come out as gamers and play behind closed walls. The fact is this, if a girl comes out as a girl online, everyone will hit on her or call her fake and imposter so currently it isn’t looking good even discrimination is featured heavily online. My girl friends on my steam profile add up to 40% of 96 people that i have met irl. The other 47 are those that keep their privacy priority.

What does "offline" mean on an xbox live friends list?

I have xbox live and an xbox 360. When I look at my friends list it tells me how long someone has been offline. But for some it just says "offline" what does that mean?

Im Looking for a badass motto for xbox live :P?

"Snipers get more head"... Or you can use " my k/d is better than hitlers" ...or you can say " code of conduct" because badasses get thier stuffed blocked for beiing bad. And you can tell your friends "oh, yeah I got banned for hacking and/ cursing on my profile" So yeah hope this helps and you know I'm just kidding with the "hacking is cool stuff" lol cya round!

Does xbox live tell your friends what you're searching for on internet explorer?

What I mean is, when someone is on youtube you can see what video they're watching by going into your friends list and it's under their name. Does it do this for internet explorer?

If I remove a friend from xbox live, will they be notified?

Nope they won't be notified. I delete my friends who I think are sort of weird and could possibly hack me. So don't worry they won't have a clue unless they look for you on your friends list. Hope this helped!

I have an Xbox One S. A friend of mine, whom I want to play with online, has the Playstation 4. Is it worth buying a new console?

I have an Xbox One S. A friend of mine, whom I want to play with online, has the Playstation 4. Is it worth buying a new console?OK so this depends on how badly you want to play with the other person because it is true that the PS4 and Xbox together (with the subscription of multiplayer) can grow to be expensive . I just don't think that buying a PS4 only because you want to play with a friend is worth all of the money (games, subscription, console, cables). Now Xbox also ( like the PS4 ) has a large amount t of players that play with that console and as I made my experience a lot of the people I met are quite friendly so my recommendation for you would be to look around in Xbox game Lobby's if there's anyone who wants to play some games with you.
