Absolutely not. Craigslist is for local, face-to-face, cash transactions only. Posting your auctions there is rude and violates the TOS, and would get flagged off. The more often your ads are flagged off, the fewer flags are needed to flag off your ads until it gets to the point that they come down in seconds. The point of eBay is to deliver prospective buyers. If you're posting your auctions correctly, and you are offering items that people want for a fair price and have a good feedback rating, you won't need to post anywhere else. If you're not posting your auctions correctly or have these other problems, you can wallpaper the planet with ads for your listings and they still won't sell. The bottom line is to stop looking for places to spam and start looking for ways to improve your listings.

Craigslist has tons of people that overprice items and then they never sell. Check out other peoples ads when pricing as well. I personally never ship items, too many scams involved. Always take pictures and give as much information as possible when posting your ad. Items sold in lots may sell better than individual items. Books may be a hard sell on Craigslist because it is a limited market. You might also consider selling to a used bookstore like Half Price Books if you are unsucessful on Craigslist. They buy books on the spot. Many local used bookstores also buy books. Amazon.com and ebay also are better resources for selling used books.

Craigslist is area specific (i.e. people often post ads where they expect you to pick an item up) vs. eBay's international market where items are generally shipped via air post. Craigslist is also a bit like a flee market in that most items are used (sometimes even free!) eBay on the other hand ranges from used goods to major retail vendors (I highly doubt their items go for free).
