Which body decides the salary of ministers?
This depends entirely upon the governance the minister operates under.If a minister serves in any denominational church, salary is negotiated through pre-set guidelines within that denomination and at the discretion of local leaders.If a minister serves in a non-denominational church, it goes on a case by case basis depending on the their government structure. Some churches are board-run; others have a board largely as helpers to their selected pastor.Other factors come into play such as the capacity for the church to fund an adequate salary so wisdom must be sought and appllied. I imagine this varies greatly from person to person, so answering this question is pretty hard. In addition, how much listening a person does to the material they’ve recorded will also be a factor.
