Minimum Speed For Playing Gta V Online

How much minimum and recommended internet speed is needed to play CS:GO online?

Smooth gameplay doesn’t entirely matter on internet speed. You need to have a secure connection with good service and ping(reaction time at which your internet responds to data send and received). I have changed many internet providers since my cs 1.6 days to cs go. Here is my analysis…• Airtel- With just 2mbps of speed and 512kbps after I had consumed my high speed data , I was still quite happy with the service. I used to get 60 ping in Indian servers and 80 in Singapore through out the month. It was a modem connection.• Fibrenet- I used to play on my laptop with a speed of 100 mbps at my friend’s workplace. I used to get 5 ping be it Indian servers or Singapore or even in Australia. I don’t know how but it was beautiful.•Docomo- Worst connection and service of all time. With a speed of 8 mbps, I still used to get 120 ms in India. Singapore is a long story. Not to mention that their internet was down most of the time which takes away the experience.•Alliance(Local ISP)- With a connection speed of 4 mbps unlimited, I easily get 60 to 80 ms ping in India depending on the region. Singapore is same 70–90 ms. The service is good anf little to no internet distruptions.•Vodafone- On 3G connection, I get 70 in India.• Jio- I never really tried but my friends do. They get around 80 to 90 in India and 100 plus in sg servers.Go with a connection that offers you a good ping and not only good speed. My Docomo connection gave good speeds but bad ping unlike Airtel which gave better ping even at a speed of 512kbps.I recommend going with a local ISP. They provide good ping and speed at an affordable price. Ask the local ISP about their ping and they will help you.P.S - I live in Kolkata.

How much internet speed is required to play GTA online PS4?

While I prefer the speed Rituj Singh has provided, I say 512 mbps is a MUST. It’s the MINIMUM requirement. You go lower, you won’t be able to enjoy at ALL. A recommended speed is 1.5 mbps. That should load parts of the city and the players, but the weather and extra stuff may slow it down. 2 mbps is good enough. You don’t need to go as high as 4 mbps. Even at 3 mbps you can fly and all the world will load.Hope it helps-Deadshot341

Yaa sure…why not….u can play GTA(V) ONLINE if only when u have purchased a original game and if u are a ps plus member… and about that 4 mbps internet speed( i think thats ur downloading speed)…tats great speed for online gaming but keep a check tat ur ping rate…uploading speed also matters in that case…so do check those things….if all set….then be ready to meet me in the world of GTA V!

What must be the internet speed to install GTA 5 on a PC from a physical disc?

I cant tell if this is a troll question or a legitimate question but just for the sake of you're genuinely asking, ill answer.
Theres no required internet speed to install GTA from a disk. As a matter of fact i dont even think you have to be online to install it. If youre wanting to play GTA online then you might need internet access. As far as playing online i wouldnt go any lower than 2 mbps. The only thing it will really matter about your net speed honestly is the patches. Most games now a days have a pretty hefty set of patches to download so if you have a slow speed that may take you a long time. As far as just installing the game though to play singleplayer no you dont need internet.

How much Internet speed is required to play COD, Battlefield, GTA and other games online on PS4?

You do not need internet speed to play games. You need faster ping to play online games without lag. Test your ping on speedtest.net.Ping between 1 - 50 ms would be great for games. >50 ms ping will make the gameplay slower.(Less ping = smooth gameplay)

What is the internet speed required to play Battlefield games online?

Firstly, thanks for the A2A :)I'm going to assume the same thing the others assumed, and say that you actually get 512kb/s. However, if you're absolutely certain that you meant to write Mb/s, then I'll give you a short answer; yes, you can play Battlefield 4, and much more.Back to the more likely scenario...Your bandwidth is well and truly capable of playing Battlefield 4, according to all sources I can find, and my own experience playing on capped internet (although I don't know what exactly my bandwidth was). What's more important is your latency, or ping. Below 100ms, perfectly playable. Above 100ms, you'll notice some lag. And as you climb higher in ping, your experience will become less and less playable. So yeah, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine to play on capped internet as long as your ping is fine :)Fun fact: I measured Battlefield 4's data usage at approximately 60 MB/h. That's 60 Megabytes (not Megabits) per hour.Hope I've helped :)

My broadband internet speed is 150KB/s. Can I hope to play GTA 5 online smoothly?

Only speed doesn't matter, ping matters too. Ping is the time that is taken by your connection to respond. Ping is measured in ms (milliseconds). Lower the ping is, better is the connection. Some games like CS:GO even kick you from the lobby if your ping is too high (you don't get banned)Imagine that the ping of your network is too high and you're playing online. You hit a player with your car in your game, but on his side, he dodged himself, the information sent to the server first will be considered and you'll see another result in a moment. (For instance, you hit him with your car and the next moment you see him standing aside)You can experience it in android games like Mini Militia. So, speed matters but ping matters more.Test your ping by speedtest by ookla(search ookla speedtest on google or download the app on your phone)

How good does an Internet connection have to be to play GTA 5 online? What are the speed requirements?

I don't know whether people will believe me or not when I say this: Basically, I updated GTA V (for PS3) on the 20th (day before yesterday). During the update, it downloaded around 2GB of data, for which I had speeds of upto 4-5MBPS.Now comes the great part (and your answer):In the initial loading, it just required me around 200-300 KBPS speed to set up, create a character and level up to rank 4. I use Airtel dongle (wifi version) and kept note of the speed - never exceeded 500 KBPS, and also I never lagged out.So I guess ON PS3/PS4 some 1 MBPS connection should do just fine. However, during my sessions very few people were present (around 3 or 4) so I do not know the required speed if you are in a full lobby. It should stay the same, however I cannot confirm. On PC, I guess more or less it should be the same, if not more. But in general, a decent connection with speeds above 1 MBPS should meet the requirement. Thanks for the A2A :]
