Motorola Razr Battery/charging Issue

How long does it take to charge a motorola cell phone battery?

For me, my stock RAZR battery only takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge. It's not bad but then again the battery doesn't last as long as I'd like it to. There are some "extended life" batteries that are thicker and I imagine take longer time to charge.

Motorola Razr V3 'Unable to charge'?

I always get this message unless I'm charging the phone with a motorola brand charger. Something that the phone can detect, I guess. If I try to charge with one of those portable battery chargers it says this too, and the people at the cell store say it is because it is not the exact amount of incoming power the phone expects. My razr has been known to change what it likes and dislikes from time to time, so if this is just happening when you have used this charger before and had it work, then I would just try again after a little bit. Maybe try turning off and on the phone a few times to give it a fresh start. If this is a charger you haven't used before, I would return it and buy a motorola brand charger instead. I have seen these at walmart for the same price as the durabrand or whatever chargers. Good luck.

Motorola RAZR V3 won't charge?

My Motorola RAZR V3 will not charge. It works perfectly fine when it is hooked up to the charger, but it is dead otherwise. The battery shows a empty red battery symbol, and it says it is charging but it isn't. I've checked the battery to see if it is warm but it isn't.

I don't think it is the phone because it works fine, but I'm not sure.

Motorola RAZR2 V8 Battery Problem?

I would return it to Amazon right away. It may not be the battery. Maybe it's not charging or something else. Before
it's too late I would definitely return it.

I have an old Razor and it was my favorite but one day the battery died. I bought a new battery it work for several days then the new battery died it was something with the phone.
Good Luck to you.

My Motorola Razr V3 will not turn on and will not charge. Can anyone help?

Cell phone manufacturers have websites to help.
But, I would take it back to the provider that was so willing to sell you a $200.00 phone. Make them earn their money and have them to personally train you on how to use it. I work for 1 of the largest providers & was so disappointed in our service. I refused to buy another piece of electronic equipment without be able to use it before I left the store. Now, me & my phone are one :)

Why is there no 4-inch android phone with a large battery?

If you are willing to stretch to a 4.7in screen there are a cour of options with impressive battery life. Around 18 months ago Motorola brought out the Razr HD and Razr Maxx HD. The HD had a 2500m/a battery which was pretty impressive, while the Maxx had a 3300 m/a battery. In other ways the phones were reasonable Android phones, but they marked the first real sign of a manufacturer trying to address the battery life issue. The current trend for larger screens has allowed manufacturers to squeeze in larger batteries, but these barely offset the larger screens use of power. So long as Apple and Samsung keep trying to make thinner and thinner handsets there will always be an issue with battery longevity. It's very much a case of the manufacturer telling the consumer what the consumer wants the phone to look like, while ignoring totally what the consumer really desires eg bigger battery, better build quality, pocket friendly size.

Will it affect my battery life if I charge my Motorola mobile with a Samsung charger?

I hope you have the Motorola charger, which was provided with the phone. Now check the output voltage and output current ratings. In most cases the output voltage will be 5V DC and the current varies from 500mA to 2A (in most cases). Now check the Samsung charger’s voltage and current ratings. If both the voltage and current ratings are same, it will be perfect to charge your Motorola with Samsung charger. If the current rating is different, make sure that the difference is not much for example your moto charger has 500mA, then you should not charge it with a 2A charger, but you can with a 1A charger. Also you should not charge if your Moto charger has much amperage than the Samsung charger for example your original charger has 1A, and your Samsung charger has 700mA. Then you should not charge it.And most importantly, if the voltage is different, DON'T use the Samsung charger, for example your moto is a 5V charger but the Samsung is 4.75V or 5.6V. If so, then don't use the charger. If you do that, not only the battery, but the whole phone may be damaged.Note- The ratings will be written on anywhere on the charger.

I can't charge my Motorola SLVR! ANYONE KNOW WHY? HELP?

ok, well i started to have this problem about a couple of days ago, but it would still charge. i just had to fiddle with it for a little bit but it would eventually charge. that was the first indication. then after two days of that, my battery died and i tried to charge it again, and this time it just wouldn't charge at all. my phone is dead and it sucks. i believe it still reads when i plug the charger in because when the phone was still alive, the screen would light up after the screensaver went, so i believe it still reads. so is it my phone or my charger?

Anyone else having problems charging their Motorola Pebl?

The Charging Port which is th Mini USB port on your phone is missing a few Pins, which is not allowing it to be charged. You will either need to get that fixed, or better yet buy yourself a new phone, try http://www.lalawest.com To replace the mini usb port on your phone will normally cost about 80-120 bucks
