Moving Cost From Jersey To Florida Do You Live In Florida Read This

Moving to Orlando Florida?

I am moving to Orlando Florida by the end of August. But I am planning a trip in July to look for places to live. Is Orlando a nice place to live? I have been there twice for vacations. I am from Michigan and hate it here! No jobs, roads are crap & bad weather! So I am moving but needed some help. What is the best way to go about this?

Should i move to Denver/ Dallas /Colorado springs?

You would love Denver or Colorado Springs. you will need a job skill to get a job good enough to support yourself. there ate tons of outdoor activities, hiking and biking trails in both cities. Colorado springs is one of the fittest cities in the nation and is far closer to the mountains. it is only an hour from Denver if you want to go there for professional sports games or more nite life, museums, etc. Colorado springs is spotlessly clean and a gorgeous city. Denver is attractive, but has more big city cleanliness problems. Never heard of powwows in the area. Weather is usually nice, snow melts rapidly. some winters re mild, some are not. Young women in both cities are individuals and cannot be judged as a group. if you are kind, interesting, respectful, they are more likely to be interested in you than if you are only interested in what you can get and how fast. You will LOVE Colorado.

Out of state driver got speeding ticket in Florida?

No matter which state you got the violation, NJ will only recognize 2 points on your record. So even if you had a 6 point violation, only 2 will show up in NJ. Yes you can take an on-line Driver Improvement Course for the State of Florida, but that does not guarantee points will be assessed in NJ.
I just paid the fine. If you can attend court... good luck! Honestly.

By Law: Violations committed in other states
Even though you are a New Jersey driver, you can still acquire points and penalties for violations committed in other states. New Jersey is a member of two compacts that enforce this policy.

The Driver License Compact
Consists of 45 states and the District of Columbia. States not included are Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, Tennessee and Wisconsin
Members in this compact exchange all violation information. Out-of-state moving violations are worth two points. For example, if you receive a speeding ticket in Florida, you will get two points on your New Jersey driving record for that violation.

Should I move to California or New jersey?

I posted this in the LA category but I want to get the insight of the New Yorkers and New Jersey-ers/ans (haha not sure) as well. Thank you!
Hey all.

So I am in a dilemma.
Right now I live in Texas with my little sister and brother and mom and my older sister went to college last year in California and lives with my aunt in Anaheim (mom can't afford dorms). I was born in Southern California and we moved when i was 9 to Vermont for 3 years and then we came to Texas (we've been living here for 5 years) so I am used to very hot and very cold climate. I am now 17 and it's time to go to college. My mom is going back to SoCal (she got an excellent job offer).

SO I for a full ride to a very good and prestigious school but the catch is that the scholarship does not involve the dorm room and therefore I will be commuting from Anaheim to Malibu ( I know more than 3 hours TORTURE TORTURE TORTURE) but I really want to save my college money for my younger siblings especially that my older sister went to a really expensive school and my mom now has many loans to give back so I know that I DON'T want to spend my college money and go to a closer college like UC irvine. I will take the commute.

My second option is living in New Jersey with my dad ( I got a scholarship to really good public university in NYC and I will only pay around $2,000 as tuition)

I really don't know what to do I am really confused. I spent almost all summers with my dad in NJ and loved it there but I still love CA.

Compare both please SoCal and NJ/NYC

Things to keep in mind
- safety is important but I dont mean small town safe I mean like a safe big city kinda thing ( I live in Dallas!)
- I am use to driving everywhere, I actually love driving (again a Dallas trait)
- Greenery and parks are important
-Diversity ( I am white but I like meeting people from different places so a place with racists is not ideal)

Thank you do much for reading this terribly long post, I really appreaciate it :)
