Muscle Pain For 6 Weeks

Muscle pain right below butt?

Ok I know this sounds weird but I've had this constant muscle pain/tightness right below my butt. Like right where my butt meets the back of my thigh. I've had this for the past like 6 weeks and it hasn't really gotten better. I thought that it'd go away after a while but that's no the case I guess. I have found these stretches that kind of help but after I do them it hurts even a little more. I just started high school soccer 5 days a week. I'm just getting kind of worried that it's not going to get better. I sometimes use a heating pad at night but is there anything else I should be doing? And is this something that could be healed easily? Please help soon! Thanks!

Between 6-7 weeks pregnant and having muscle pain in sides?

everything is just shifting around the make room for your little miracle. i had the same problem. I consulted a naturopath who recommended a product called Tissue Salts (magnesium phosphate), they work as a muscle relaxant. they were fantastic, and relieved such pains immediately, totally safe for pregnancy, they can be bought at health food stores etc. maybe they would work for you... good luck and remember it will all be worth every pain!

Why have I had leg pain and twitching for six weeks?

I am a 20 years old woman. I had rosea and headache for 6 weeks(they went away) before my legs started twitching. I think I get sick a lot. I sometimes feel lightheaded. This is embarrassing but, my legs started twitching after I masturbated. (I have a habit of twisting my legs and masturbate) After I fell asleep, I woke up. The place right above my knees (both side) started twitching uncontrollably. I thought it would go away. But it spread out to other parts of my legs. My butt started twitching, my legs started twitching, and my feet started twitching. They only happens when I am at rest or standing for a long time. They happen sometimes one per minute or one per five minute. It is not 24/7. After that, I felt my twitching in my arms, torso, eyelid, lips, and tongue. Still, twitching is mostly in my legs. But, it is very concerning because I have had this twitching for 6 weeks now. I occasionally felt leg pain that I have never felt before. The pain comes and goes. I am very concerned.

Sore shin muscles when walking?

It hurts and the muscles in that area are really tight. It is not shin splints. It's lactic acid build-up in the muscles.

I have this exact problem despite walking 8 marathons.

It is caused by not warming up enough. Start off more slowly for the first mile or slow and then allow yourself to accelerate to the full speed. If you never go very fast, then go for about a half mile and then stop and do some shin stretches. One good one is to hold your knee straight and immobile and write the alphabet with your toe. Or go clockwise 20 times and then counter clockwise 20 times.

Another thing to note is that you can walk through this though it isn't a lot of fun. If I start out too fast or cut short on the stretches, I sometimes get the pain. I find that if I simply press on, the pain subsides after about 3-4 miles and doesn't come back.
