Music That Will Make Older People Want To Get Up And Dance

Dance music makes me happy?

Music is what everybody love. Not only love listening music but I also love writing songs.

The reason why I believe music is that affective to change our mood is because it's the representation of someone's (writer's) emotion in such a way that it gets the capability to overrule someone else' emotions. That's why they often are helpful to change our emotions.

Crazy Fact- Cows give more milk if they are listening sweet music while giving milk.

Why do white people listen to black music but black people don't listen to white artists?

"It's not unusual...

come on have you never seen Fresh prince of Belaire?? carlton?
okay, I know corny corny but I could not resist.

I think that for the most part, black people are a lot more prtective of their race and culture, because for the most part they still hold tightly to the wounds of slavery and oppression, it is almost like a betrayal or being disloyal to their people by including any culture or race in their arts or lifestyle besides their own. This is not to say ALL black people are like this, but I find this to be the attitude of those that do. There are some white people like this too but I think a greater majority of black people feel this way or at least subconsciously they do.

I Want to Take my Wife Dancing?

I am a 36-year old married man and together, my wife and I have a child. My wife is a year older than me. We don't get out much, but I would like to take her out one night to a dance club. She is a great dancer and loves this activity.

I, on the other hand, hate to dance and I am overweight. I was never a good dancer. However, I am willing to take the plunge and take her dancing, as I know she would have a great time.

My question is, what would a man like me wear to a dance club? Keep in mind my age, as well as the fact that I am not a "cool" guy; I'm actually a boring professional type of guy, but I care deeply about my wife and want to show her a good time, but I have no idea what to wear.

Now, I intend to take her to a dance club where there are people of our age group. For example, the Copacabana or Culture Club (currently under renovation), both in Manhattan. She likes new music (I only like a couple of songs) so we'll go to a club that plays this type of music (e.g., Beyonce) and/or a club that plays 1980's music (e.g., freestyle such as TKA, Stevie B, Sweet Sensation and perhaps pop music such as Madonna (80's version)).

I don't want to look like an idiot on the dance floor. I don't want to appear as one of those guys trying to hang on to my youth, nor do I want to look like an old man. I am overweight so I would look ridiculous in any tight-fitting clothing. I'd appreciate some suggestions and perhaps you can include links to online pictures in your response to enable me to visualize your suggestion.

Thank you so much.

Why do most old people dislike present day songs and mostly listen to old music?

I am a music producer who has been in the field for the past 6 years and I enjoy classical music as much as I like the new Electro Dance Music. Now, let us come to the question. why do old people mostly tend to listen to old music. Let's have a look at the 'new' music that is slowly taking over. It is mostly EDM and sometimes a hybrid version of Modern Rock and Electronic Drum elements. The 'new' songs are engineered properly and mastered with the tools that were not available back in those days. They are crafted with tools which deal with all kinds of psycho-acoustic stuff, which barely mattered in those days. Things like compression , Equalization and Mid-Side Processing were not even in the picture. It's not like they didn't want their tracks to be perfect or something ; It's just that there were no such tools available back in their time.Although, you might have heard of the saying that "Old songs are more musical than the new songs". Well, that might be true up to some extent but then again it is highly relative. I have heard old songs which were like 'super hits' back in those days , yet those songs ignored basic music theory aspects and lacked creativity.Listen to "ABCD" from "Hum saath saath hain" if you want some insight. The lyrics are basically a recitation of the English alphabet.or"Tu mera Superman" from Dariya Dil. I have no idea how people could dance to that. The point I am trying to make is that, it is not the songs that are being released these days that are not likable , it is the people's opinion in general. The conflict often arises when 'old' people tend to attach their personal feelings and emotions to the songs that were available during their young age. They might have enjoyed it back then as it was best of their time but times change.
