Can a US Social Security number given to a foreigner ever expire? How do I find out the number?
A2AIf one is in the U.S., one can go to a local Social Security Administration office with suitable identification. Office personnel then will look up an individual’s social security number. However, that approach will not work for the OP, who is outside the U.S. And no one in the U.S. - not even a lawyer with written authorization - can obtain the SSN on the foreign individual’s behalf. The only approach of which I am aware for individuals who are outside the U.S. - and this is an approach that requires a bit of geographic luck - is as follows:The Social Security Administration is represented for benefits payment purposes by Federal Benefits Units in many countries throughout the world. If there is a nearby Federal Benefits Unit, you can ask personnel there to look up your SSN.None of my clients has tried this, so I do not know how practicable this procedure is.So my advice is to try some of these SSN retrieverEnjoy
What happens if I stop paying LIC policy premiums after 5-6 years?
If you stop playing premium after 5–6 yrs then policy will Lapsed that means there will be no riskcover since you paid 5 yr premium so one yr automatic riskcover will be without paying premium..You have two optionsFirst - if you want to surrender than you can surrender this policy but surrender amount will be lower than your principal amount or you may get more depends on policy so before surrendering your policy ask for surrender quotation at your lic branch..Second option you can stop paying premium since you paid three yr full premium so policy become reduced paidup.. At the time of maturity you will receive proposnate mature amount which will more than surrender amount..If you do not need money then go for second option ndfirst option is always open for you in case of emergency u can surrender this policy.
