My Brother Is Always Hungry .

Im always hungry! high metabolism?

If you have a high metabolism it means you burn a lot more calories your body takes in. In having a high metabolism it is very hard to gain weight because in order to gain weight you need to take in more calories then burned. If you want to lose weight just start doing workouts in that certain region and keep eating how you are. The key is to burn more calories then taken in and then you wont gain any weight or fat, but if you want to gain weight and muscle just start working out and take in more calories then burned

Why is my boyfriend always hungry?

my brother is the same way he ate all of the food my mom cooks thats why im anorexic hehe sorry

My brother is always hungry.....?

My 18 year old brother is always hungry. He eats breakfast and sometimes it doesn't fill him up but when it does he is hungry 20-30 minutes later.......Same with lunch and dinner. He does often snack a lot. He has noticed this too.

No matter how much my brother eats, he claims to still be hungry?

He's 19, and isn't fat or anything. But he claims he's ALWAYS hungry, and no matter how much he eats it doesn't satiate his appetite? Why could this be? It's like his stomach is a bottomless pit, and he just eats and eats and never gets full. It's really aggravating for me because he eats literally ALL of the food in my house, so there's never anything for anybody else to eat when they're hungry.
So why does he never get full? And is there a way to make it so he DOES get full, and doesn't eat so much?
Sometimes I get really mad and call him a pig, and gluttonous because he eats so much. Every time he eats it's like he's binging. The most recent time he ate a can of ravioli, a ham sandwich, 3 pieces of toast, a can of tuna, a can of spaghettios, and a can of chili all at once.
And he does that ALL the time. I'm surprised he doesn't weigh like 300 pounds.
So what's wrong with him that makes him eat so much and never get full? And is there a way to put a stop to it??

My brother won't stop eating!?!?!? How do I help him!?

My brother is 12 and he won't stop eating. He eats one thing after another. About 20 minutes ago he had a TON of ice cream and now he's making 2 packages of ramen. He does it all the time and everyday. He usually eats junk food. In the past year he had gained 12 pounds. The doctor said he has to start going to the gym or excersizing in some way and he said he wants to then when my mom and I are about to go we ask him if he wants to go he says no and freaks out if we push him to go. Then the next day he starts eating again and we say stop eating so much his answer always is "But I'm still hungry" and we know he is not because how can he be with all the things he ate before. Then we tell him the dr said he needs to lose weight but he says "I would but you never take me to the gym with you." We ask him to go everytime he always says no he's only been with us at the gym once an barely did anything. And when I workout at home he does it with me sometimes then stops like 5 minutes in and says I don't like this I will only do the stuff I can do and know how to do which is barely anything.

Why am I always hungry? Diabetes? Help please?

Lately, for at least the past two or three weeks, I've been hungry like every two hours. I'm eating about 4 or 5 times a day, plus anything else I can get my hands on. I haven't gained any weight, actually may have lost a bit. (I'm usually average weight, right on the mark, but now I'm borderline bikini thin. pretty much no fat left on my stomach.)

I thought the weight loss was because my spring semester started, meaning I get about an hour of walking every day, plus I was doing some treadmill/running at the gym twice a week. But I stopped once I noticed that I was seriously hungry all the time.

Today, I ate a bowl of cream of wheat and a glass of milk for breakfast, half a box of mac and cheese plus a hot dog, then the other half of the box later, then a fruit cup, then I went to a game and had pizza and a bag of m&ms, then I came back and had a cookie and half a glass of milk, and now I'm starving again.

Maybe I'm just not eating right...I kinda ran out of food and lived off of corn dogs, hot dogs, mac and cheese, and fruit cups for the past two weeks because that's what I could get for $15. but then again, that's pretty much all I ate last semester and i survived just fine.

I do have a history of diabetes in my family, and that's what worries me. I'm going to talk to my doctor later, after I can buy some real food and see if that was the problem. But for anyone who's had diabetes, how did you know something was wrong?

Oh, and I'm 18.
