Why does my poop today smell like my dog's poop?

This is what I have eaten in the past 2 days (cuz I'm not sure which days food I am pooping out): yesterday I ate 2 sloppy joes and a chocolate chip cookie today all I ate was pasta with meat sauce (the meat was pork sausage) I don't see any similarities between our foods, so why the hell does my poop smell exactly like my dogs? Is just because of the high meat content on my diet the past few days? I know this is a very very weird question but I found it even stranger that our feces smelled exactly the same. And I have a pretty sensitive and accurate sense of smell too.

The white rice and chicken diet may be making him constipated..As long as he is not lethargic, eating and drinking fine, playing etc.. I would wait it out another day and if he dont have a bowel movement then call the vet again and let them know whats going on..Believe it or not canned pumpkin works wonders for dogs with both diarreah and constipation! Just make sure you get 100% pumpkin, no sugar or anything else added to it and give him some with his food, it will help the constipation..My lil girl, it definitly worked well for her, she is a toy poodle with many stomache issues...

I mitt one or two hands with a plastic bag and grab the pile to scoop it up without touching the stool. 5 week old puppy has runny poo?
I got a 5 week old pitbull puppy about two days ago. I know that they are supposed to be with their mothers until about 6-8 weeks but she died and I took him in. I got him some puppy chow and made it soggy with water so he can eat it. I even gave him a little bit of Cesar's puppy food to mix into it. Well he just started having runny poop but besides that he is very playful and getting a lot of sleep. Should I go out and get him puppy formula.. If so what is the best kind to get. Also is it too early for me to take him to see a vet. Please be nice with your answers this is the first time I have had a dog at such a young age, Thank you
