My Ear Piercing Has Been Bleeding And Puss Is Coming Out Of It.

Why is my ear piercing bleeding and oozing puss?

Perhaps unknowingly you have torn/scratched the skin around the piercing and it has got infected. Or it could be an allergic reaction to damp (sweat or shampoo/chemicals from swimming pool). Keep your hair and the earring off to allow the ear to heal. Keep the area dry (dry well around the ear after shower). The antiseptic wash sounds sensible and practical. Fresh pillow-case (clean ones every other day) or keep the wound covered in bed might be a good idea. When healed keep an eye on it and be aware of what you are using as in shampoo, skin cream, etc, in case it flares up again.

Red/brown puss coming out of naval piercing?

your piercing may just be a little irritated , or it couldve got pulled on or yanked on when you were sleeping or doing something and it may be a bit irritated or infected. Uhm actually I have pretty much used hydrogen peroxide on all of my piercings including my tongue & I used hydrogen peroxide half the time and salt soaks the other and all of my piercings healed up just fine without rejection or infection.. :)

Ear piercing bleeding and hurts a little after 6 weeks?

I got my second holes done at Claire's 6 weeks ago. (I know it was a bad idea because they use the gun. Going to a professional next time.) Anyway, I cleaned and turned them regularly. But when it finally came time to take them out, they began to bleed a little. My left ear bled a little but that quickly stopped and it's healing fairly nicely.

But... my right one bleeds the most and even hurts a little. (NOT a lot. Just a tad.) When I took the other studs out, it feels as if there's a lump of... Stuff in my ear, and when I try to squeeze it out of the hole, it just keeps bleeding. It's all red. Just blood. But still. Also, when I put the piercing back in, it goes all the way through without any pain.. BUT it seems as if the hole is kind of swollen because it covers most of the post so when I put the back on, it's kind of tight in my ear.

Also, from time to time, I notice some clear liquid coming out of both ears.

I hope this is making sense.

Is it infected, or is there some puss like substance inside my ear hole?

Is it normal for puss and blood to come out of my ear piercing?

I know it was a bad idea but I couldn't wait, the "Want" was greater then he thought so to speak. But anyways it was four weeks since I pierced to a 10 and stretched to a 6. There was blood after the stretch showing that It didn't go too well. After that there was puss but neosporin cleared it up over night. Now it has been about 2 weeks and they have been acting up again, one of my ears started to bleed when I was putting in new plugs. I cleaned with sea salt soak and then more neosporin before I put the plug back in.

Just wondering if this is normal..? Obviously I am not going to stretch until its completely healed. In the act of stretching, time is on your side :)

My ear piercing started to leak with blood and pus?

Blood and puss is a sign of infection. You need to clean your piercing with sea salt soaks. The "blister" you're talking about maybe gone for now, but trust me, it'll come back if you don't keep your piercing clean. And infected piercings came become VERY VERY painful. If you have anymore problems I would suggest going to a piercing shop and have them look at it, after all that's what they are there for.

Why is my earring hole bleeding and puss-like stuff is in it?

The hole is infected. Better start cleaning it. Try dipping Q-Tips in some antiseptic, and then rubbing that on both sides of the hole. If it doesn't get any better, call the doctor.

Oh, and don't put any earrings back in the hole for a while.

Trying to change earrings for first time, ear bleeding?

blood & pus are NOT normal....it also sounds like you haven't bothered turning them while they were healing..subsequently, they healed onto your post & now you're attempting to tear them apart;; try leaving them in, soaking it with that rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide or whatever you were instructed to clean them with (use a soaked cotton ball & squeeze over your ear on both sides);; roll them for a few days & try again;; when you put them in, make sure you are gliding it along the path that it was pierced, & NOT making your own new 'hole'; salt water will make it expand & open..almost like healing it all over again....rubbing alcohol..it's a disinfectant (will keep infection away);; & btw, clean the pus off...it's already infected, but you can help the infection by using the right materials..alcohol...

ADD:: & you're dealing with that 'myth' right now; reality hon..truly!!!!! I work in the medical field & truly understand the healing process..more than 'Claire's' or most people on YA that just want to 'answer'..I like to feel I'm helping..ya need to rotate them or the pus & fluid that you are producing from that healing process will stick to whatever you've got attached to that body of your's..try scratching you arm till it bleeds..then tape that post to your cut & see what resolves..turn the silly earring already...& try your best not to attach those posts too tight...

Sore ear piercing.?

When you put your earrings in dip the post into some antibiotic ointment. This will help. My ears get sore and they have been pierced for decades!
Once I had a second hole put in my left ear. It hurt for about 1 year, no kidding. I couldn't sleep on it It finally stopped but good grief! I think they did it sideways...or something.
