Why does Facebook (product) show that I’m online when I’m not?
I've tried turning off chat, logging completely out of facebook on all devices, deactivating and reactivating, deleting every single app association, removed all platform log ins and permissions and even when I am logged out of facebook on every platform I still show as regularly active on my friend's account. It's completely ridiculous. Perhaps some other facebook psychology test where they are seeing if they can break relationships by choosing people to do this trick on! Cant think of any logic behind it.
Can the green dot show and the person not be active?
Yes it happens all the time if they are logged into their device IE phone or tablet it will show it as their on or they may be logged into their FB account on PC and not at their PC.
Need advice dealing with negative, toxic family members?
Just don't be around them more than you can help. When they say or do something mean to you, just smile and say, "I sorry you feel that way" or "I hope you feel better." Unfriend on FB anyone who isn't friendly! Duh! Be supportive of your mom by trying to get her in a better frame of mind. Give her positive thinking books to read. Refuse to listen to he being negative. Tell her to just write all her negative things down, tear up the paper, and flush it down the toilet of but it in the garbage. Help her plan a healthy life style also. Of course, if she want cooperate, you really can't do anything but keep being positive and telling her you hope she will get better. Personally, I like "How's that working out for you?" for a questions that helps other redirect. I also tell people i will pray for them and I do it. I am not sure whether they will accept the help they might get from that but it helps me. Nobody can make you feel bad without your permission. You change the way you deal with things by doing what you know is right. Dwell on what is beautiful and healthy. Exercise,eat, pray,and meditate in ways that work for you. You can't stop the birds from flying over your head, but you don't have to let them nest in your hair, And if while flying over they happen to drop a little s--- on you, a nice shampoo will fix it.
Will I go blind if my eyesight keeps worsening?
So I've noticed over the years since I was 14 when I started wearing glasses that everytime I went for my check-up I would have to get new pairs of glasses because my eyesight got worse each time. I am currently 21 and my eyesight is still worsening. My school life basically makes me use the computer for about 5 hours a day due to homework and projects, and I throw in another 2-3 hours for personal entertainment uses like gaming, facebook, chatting etc. Will I eventually go blind?
My daughters hermit crab won't go back in a shell?! Help!!!?
My daughters hermit crab has been out of it's shell for 24,hours now. We have probably 6 other shells in with it and it won't choose one. It has gotten sand on it's thorax and I don't know what to do. To some it's just a crab but it's my daughters only pet and she's had it for two years. It's stressing us out and making us sick with worry. Please help :(
When does Messenger show that you’re online? Can it do so without your opening Facebook?
Messenger shows that you're online when:you're using messenger app at that moment (it's open on your mobile device);you're using Facebook app at that moment (it's open on your mobile device);you're online on Facebook website at that moment (you're logged in and using the website either on the description or mobile - doesn't matter).Thus, the answer to your question is yes, it can show you online even though you're not opening Facebook itself. And that's when you're using Messenger app (which is, frankly speaking, a different project by FB, kinda like Instagram).
What should I do if I caught my boyfriend on dating sites?
No I wouldn't give him another chance. If he hasn't physically cheated already, he definitely wants to, and he most definitely is emotionally cheating on you by wanting other girls. You have moved way too fast by moving in with him after 1 month of dating, you sound like a really cool girl and trust me when I say... It's his loss! Move on and find someone who wants to be with you and only you, because your present boyfriend most definitely does not.
