My Inbox Emails Are Disappearing. Its Only Showing Those One Week Old. Help

Why are emails disappearing from my Gmail's inbox on my iPad?

This is a Gmail issue, not an IOS issue. As David Berman points out — you can set how long to keep email when you setup the account — but under IOS 10, you cannot change that setting. To change that setting via IOS, you need to delete the account from your ipad and then re-create it. Deleting the account from your iPad does not impact the actual Gmail account.

Yahoo! Mail - Old emails have disappeared.?

A number of people are having this problem of entire blocks of e-mail vanishing Yahoo have no idea why. The number of people on here who lose important mail, photo's, document's et al is amazing. The first rule of computers is make a back up. The second is..another one. . Hard drives die, memory sticks die, mail goes missing, with 1 Tb drives at the price they are now it's not that expensive. Better safe than sorry.

Deleted emails reappear in my inbox?

For about the last month or so, I've noticed that when I delete an email, or a group of emails from my inbox they will reappear in my inbox, sometimes almost immediately and other times after several minutes.

I am not using Yahoo basic.

I do go to my yahoo inbox via several browsers, mostly firefox (v21.0), chrome (Version 27.0.1453.110 m) and IE (8.0 at work, later version at home). I noticed this issue happens across all of these browsers.

My yahoo mail inbox has been showing one unread message , and Ihave none ; why is this?

Hi,
I found this in What's New In Mail:
We’re wrapping up a few remaining compatibility issues between Yahoo! Mail Beta and the new Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 Beta, and we’ll open up our Beta to their Beta towards the end of this month. Folks on the bleeding edge, please sit tight!

This applies to almost all mail (including signing in, composing, receiving, sending etc.) and search problems for the last two weeks.

So, It appears we have to un-install these two things or try to work around them.

For those who can't get in at all try this as it seems to be working for a few.
http://myyahoo.com
Login on My Yahoo! page
Select the link at top right to go to Yahoo!'s Home Page.
Mouse over the Mail Icon under where it says (Hi, your Yahoo! id).
You should get a drop down menu with your latest emails displayed.
Select an email and click it. You then get to a new page about Shortcuts, but just select the button for Mail and it should take you to your Mail page.
It wasn't getting redirected to the shortcuts page on some servers and not going to the mail page.

This is also working for some:
Click the "Options" link in the upper right of your Mail page.
On the Options page, in the "Management" column, click on "General Preferences".
Find the "Composing E-mails" section, "Mode:", and choose "Compose messages as plain text".
Scroll to the bottom and click the "Save" button.
Now try it. Can you Compose, Reply to a message or Forward?

This is working for some also:
Make sure your screen resolution is 1024 by 768 pixels. Right click on your desktop, click Properties, click the "Settings" tab, left click and hold on the screen resolution bar and drag it all the way to the right, click Apply and click OK.

Old emails are missing in my Yahoo Mail's inbox?

The only messages appearing in my yahoo mail inbox are from this year and last year, but there should be a lot more since I have been a customer for 10 years.
But the old messages are not deleted, since I can still access them from the folders when they are in a folder.
Example: the oldest message in my inbox is from 2009. But in folders I have messages from 2001.

Why do e-mails sometimes disappear from my Gmail inbox?

Most often it is malware attachments that sneak in through the gmail filters. These arrive in your spam folder and are automatically deleted by gmail filters after 30 days.It is when you attempt to delete them yourself these attachments open open and embed in the registry. It is pretty hard to track them.Once in a while clean the history and all the cookies and this will help. Also reset the whole thing and this will help. It is a bit of work, I know but it is better to clean out all the garbage that collects and infects everything else.Put your email settings on high alert and junk mail wont get in. Watch those dating sites. They are a harassment and find ways to somehow hook into your system.Im not even sure if all of this will even help.I had the same problem on and off and just got fed up trying to keep the email folders clean and tidy. Unfortunately we cannot survive without email. Of all the email sites Gmail is one of the best. Had enough nonsense comes through Yahoo, Hotmail and all others.Cheers.

Not receiving emails, old messages randomly disappearing, normal messages going to Spam, HELP!?

Hi FlyingShawn,

Not to worry, Yahoo Staff members like myself frequent Yahoo Answers and answer questions like yours.

It sounds less like a case of messages not being received and more like a case of messages going missing, so I'd like to start there. I've investigated your account, but I don't see anything wrong that would cause deletions like the ones you are describing. I recommend you take a look at this Yahoo Help article regarding what could be causing your messages to go missing.

Messages are missing from your Inbox or another folder: http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...

Regarding your filters not working as they should, can you gather the sender, subject and date of messages you expected to be caught and were not, and what filter should have caught them, and send this information to our Yahoo Mail team directly?

https://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?...

Submit a request on this issue by selecting "Sending and receiving messages" as the topic, and "unable to receive messages" as the sub-topic. Finally, Click the envelope icon labeled "Email" under "We're here to Help" and fill out the provided form.

Take care!

MY email account has disappeared.?

Hello Susan, sorry to hear you are having issues seeing both of your email accounts with Yahoo!. From your question, it sounds as though you have been recently switched from our classic mail platform to the newest Yahoo! email format. In this new format, to toggle back and forth, I recommend reading the following help article:

"How do I sign in to my Yahoo! Business Email account?"
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/smallbu...

You can also get into your business email address by going to http://mail.yourdomain.com only replacing "yourdomain.com" with the domain from your email address. If you are not signed in, it will prompt you to sign in and if you are currently signed in, you will be dropped into the business email inbox.

Additionally, if you are stuck in the "basic" version of the new mail format, there is no button to toggle from that mode so you will have to click the link in the upper right had side that says "Switch to the newest Yahoo! Mail".

If you have any issues with this process, then you can contact us anytime by going to:

http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/contactus

We hope this helps and good luck!
