Hi Kaz, Congratulations on the purchase of your Nokia Lumia 520! When you first power on the device, you will need to sign into your Microsoft account (used to access the Store for downloading apps, to use Xbox services and other things). As such, app purchases are tied to your Microsoft account, not your mobile service provider or SIM card. When you swap SIMs, your content will remain there. As for music, you can load your own collection without even signing into your Microsoft account - so that too will also remain. Hope this helps! P.S. In case you weren't aware, the Lumia 520 requires a micro-SIM card.

My music can't download onto my Nokia Lumia 520?
I have just received a new Nokia Lumia 520 for Christmas and yes, it is an amazing phone. The thing is, I can't transfer my music from my laptop to the phone. I had no problem downloading music onto it from my windows 7 computer. But today when I had tried downloading music and went to the Windows Phone folder on the side of my windows explorer, no folders had came up. Normally there would be a 'music', 'videos', 'ringtones', etc. folders there, But nothing had showed up. I need the 'Music' folder, and pretty much all the other folders to transfer my stuff from my computer to my phone. When I had tried dragging the music to the Windows phone, it had said something along the lines of 'This portable device had stopped responding or it has been disconnected.' The weird thing is that the phone was connected because it was charging from being connected to the computer. Any help to solve this problem? Thank you in advance.
