My Old Yahoo Mail 2013 -14

"Sorry, your session has expired." This pops up every time I try to open my mail.?

Hi, Try Updating the Internet Browser you are using at the moment or using a different Internet Browser.

Or Contact Yahoo by Email, this can be done by clicking on HELP at the Bottom Right Hand side of the Yahoo Home Page under Horoscopes.

Click on whatever Subject is best for you for more information, you can also Click on the Arrows for more options, or Type your Problem in the Search Help box.

For more Help and advice you can also Go to the Right hand side of page and click on Contact Customer Care.

Click on Select a Product, then select a Category or Version, page will reload for you to click on Sub Category.

Make sure you fill in Brief Details of what has Happened, click Enter.

Depending on the Category you select and the Sub Category you also select you may see at the Bottom of the Page for more help Click on EMAIL A SUPPORT AGENT. You may have to click on different ones and try variations.

Or else there will be information there on the page to help with your problem.

There will then be a Form to fill in. Fill in the form with as much information as you can remember about your security details and your yahoo account etc.

Yahoo will then contact you at a Different Email Address that you need to give them. This email address CANNOT be a yahoo email one.

You need to give them a different Email Address, it could be one that you already have or you will need to create a new one, Google, Hotmail, etc. You do this by clicking on Email and then click on Register and follow the instructions.

They only need this Different Email Address to give you instructions regarding your yahoo account.

When Yahoo send you an email, make sure you check the Trash and Spam folders as well as the Inbox in case it went in there instead.

You will be asked to create a New Password, Best a hard to Guess One for anyone trying to access your Yahoo Account.

I Would Also Strongly advise that you register an alternative email address and your Mobile Number/Cell Phone Number with Yahoo, that is done through Account Settings. (I Think).

That way if your account is ever hacked or similar, a message should come up and they can send a code to your phone or other email address for you to then unlock your Yahoo Email Account.

Good Luck
Claire

I need the url for the old version of yahoo mail?

Yahoo is moving everyone using Yahoo Classic to the new Yahoo Mail. Here's an overview of the new Yahoo mail - http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...

You can switch back to Yahoo Classic by using this link - http://mrd.mail.yahoo.com/switchclassic You will need to bookmark this link and use it every time you want to use Yahoo Mail Classic.

It should work until July 9, 2013. At that time you will be required to update from Yahoo Classic to the new Yahoo Mail in order to access your email.

This link doesn't appear to work for everyone, especially those running Windows XP. Try these basic troubleshoting steps if the link doesn't work - http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?locale=en...

You can share your dislike of the new features of Yahoo Mail by using the feedback form located at

New 2013 Yahoo Mail sucks?

Just this morning I sent one of those feedbacks (let us know) from within Yahoo settings....of course this will not be replied to because of the "volume" they get.

Just like you, I hate this "new" email that they pushed down our throats. Everything seems slow/time delayed. When I want to "mark as read" right clicking the actions icon only produces a "loading" and finally the menu appears. Just deleting an email is time delayed....what the eck!

The other annoying thing is that when I attempt to empty the "thrash can" in the Spam and Trash....again time delay.

I also want the previous Yahoo mail. I pay for this every year but I may have to reconsider switching to GMail.

How can I get to the oldest email in my yahoo inbox?

Click on Sort By Date twice to force the oldest messages to the top of the email list.

How do I get my old yahoo mail back I hate the new one. It just gives the time something was sent not the dat

How do I get my old yahoo mail back. I didn't click on any thing to change it. I imagine Yahoo just went ahead and did it. It doesn't allign the emails correctly and when something is sent to me it just has the time not the date. I just hate it. Plus instead of the word Bulk it has spam. Hate it. I don't like change on my yahoo mail at all.

How do I view email older than a few months on Yahoo Mail on my old, slow computer without buying a premium account?

I don’t have a premium Yahoo account, and I have mail that is over 13 years old. I didn’t use Yahoo much after I signed up with Gmail, mainly because of their being hacked so many time, so I had over 50,000 unread messages. I wanted to clean it up so I could use it again.I have Thunderbird for my email client, it works in systems as old as Windows XP SP2. I went into my Yahoo account settings and allowed third party software, put my email and password into Thunderbird, and several hours later I had ALL my mail. It took me about an hour to clean it up, and now I have a nice clean mailbox at Yahoo again. My friend sent me some pictures of my son’s baptism 10 years ago that I thought were lost, but no, they were still sitting there nicely on Yahoo’s servers waiting for me to download them.

All old emails have disappeared from my Yahoo mail?

If you opened a new account your emails from your previous account will not automatically be forwarded to your new account. Sign out of your current account and try signing in with any other Yahoo addresses and see if your emails are there.

1. Place your cursor over your name in the upper-right corner
- a menu will appear
2. Select "Sign Out"
3. Go to https://login.yahoo.com
4. Enter your Yahoo ID and password
5. Click "Sign In"

Check your Trash, Spam and all other folders to see if your deleted or lost emails have been accidentally moved there.

In the search box at the top of the page, type any text you can remember from the email message or attachment and click Search Mail. If you remember the sender's name you can type "from: their name"

If you are still unable to locate your lost emails, you can fill out a form and request Yahoo restore your deleted messages.

Please note: Yahoo can only restore emails and IMs that were lost within the last 7 days. Yahoo will reset your account back to a date when these messages were still in your inbox. *All emails sent or received after this date will be permanently deleted.*

Please click the link below for instructions on where to locate restore forms. Please read all information carefully.

Email accounts are intended to be used as a form of communication and not as storage units. Accounts are at risk for hackers, deletion, or you could be denied access to your account due to a forgotten password or forgotten answers to you secret questions. Content stored in your mail account is always vulnerable.

In the future, please consider saving all your important information, messages and contact information to your personal computer files as a text document (using an application such as Wordpad, Microsoft Word, Oracle Open Office Writer etc.)
Messages, emails and even your contact list can be printed and the physical copy kept in a safe place.

Yahoo has a page just for it!Yahoo Account to Outlook 2013 Using IMAP

How can I delete Yahoo emails by year, like for the whole (past) year?

If you are in the new yahoo mail interface, in the search box, hit any key and you'll see a drop down appear. At the lower right is an Advanced Search link. Click that.In the window that pops up, change the date drop down to Custom Date and two new fields will appear. Fill them in with the date range, then click search mail.Select all the mail you want and hit delete as you normally would. You can also just type in to the search box:after:”2017/01/01″ before:”2018/01/01″For example, to search for all mail received in 2017.

How do you mass delete emails on Yahoo Mail?

Presuming you’re using Yahoo Mail on your PC/laptop, this is the method that I use. Also I find it easier to use the old Yahoo email, rather than the “new”.Sort your emails in “Ascending Order”. That way, you’re looking at the oldest first.Look through and make certain that any email you’ve starred or emails from family, etc. that you might want to keep — mark those and put them in a Keep folder. Otherwise, click the Select All button. Then click the Delete button. Or even better the Spam button. This is not a very speedy way to go, because Yahoo shows you only about 50 messages at a time. But after doing this 20 or so times, you’ll find you’ve made quite a dent in those emails that build up.I’ve heard there’s a way to filter e-mails that are over, say, 6 months old, but I can’t find the setting. If anybody knows where that is, please let me know.Thank you, and best of luck!
