My Stomach Growls After I Eat

Should you eat if your stomach growls?

As long as you’re not actually starving yourself, nothing bad happens if you don’t eat when your stomach growls.Your stomach growls because there’s not much in it but a few gas bubbles and a bit of fluid, so when it contracts, as it naturally does to move food along, it makes a gurgling sound. Your stomach spends most of its time mostly empty; after a meal, it churns up your food and passes it along to the small intestine, emptying itself little by little. But even after your stomach is empty, there’s still food in your small intestine. You’re still digesting food, still absorbing nutrients. After that’s done, you have stored glycogen to release for energy, and after that you have stored body fat. Once your body starts to dip into energy stores, it’ll also slow your metabolism down some in order to conserve energy. But by then, you’ll have had your sleep and be ready for breakfast. The only thing a growling stomach means is that your stomach is empty; it doesn’t mean you need to eat right then. Waiting until morning to eat your next meal is fine. If you don’t like the sensation of having an empty stomach, it’s also reasonable to eat a light snack around eight or nine o’clock—maybe a piece of fruit or a handful of nuts or a granola bar or something like that.

I eat, and my stomach growls. I don’t eat, and my stomach growls. I only eat a little bit, my stomach growls. And if I eat a lot, my stomach growls. It’s really embarrassing. How can I prevent my stomach growling?

It is air moving in your gut that produces the growling. We swallow air all the time when we eat and drink, and digestion produces quite a bit of gas. There isn’t much you can do to stop it, but be reassured that most of the time other people don’t notice it - and most of the time the people around you can feel and hear the wind travelling around (and out) in their own bellies too.

Stomach growls after eating?

Take digestive enzymes before you start eating. You should also take Pro-Biotics.
Your stomach growls because you are not producing the proper digestive enzymes needed in your stomach. When the food enters the stomach it goes "nuts".
Go to a health food store or vitamin store and ask about them. I had the same problem and it has vertually stoped my stomach growling problem. Another added plus is that your bowel movements become very regular. And they reduce "belly fat"!!!!!!

My stomach growls two hours after I eat.?

Its normal movement of your GI tract digesting your food. Yours just happens to be little louder then other people's. I don't think there is anything specific that can be done, but ask your doctor if you are really concerned.

Why Does My Stomach Still Growl After I Eat?

because you have gas wind you need to pop of

Why does my stomach growl even after I eat?

I think you really should eat breakfast. Plus it probably hasn't digested yet, just give it time and if you still feel hungry then have something more filling but still healthy. I hope that helps!

Why does my stomach growl a lot and hurt after I eat a burger? I also get gassy.

If you are eating a hot or warm burger ( not spicy hot) assuming the patty is cooked on gas or stovetop and you are also drinking ice cold drink then you may get digestion issues. When hot food is combined with ice cold drink, the digestive system slows down and can give you various symptoms of gas, stomach discomfort, constipation etc too.It is just like when you have a fire burning somewhere and you throw water on top of the fire, then fire start producing smoke, gas and that fire will be useless. Our stomach has digestive fire too. So that the food can be digested. You will see in many cultures people drink hot liquid like tea etc with breakfast, lunch or dinner, sometimes just hot water at the end of the meal. This is to make sure our digestive system can process the food while it is lukewarm in the gut.Our body temperature is generally 37 degrees Celsius or around 97–98 F. The ice cold drink after or during the meal makes the stomach very cold along with food and our body works very hard to first transform this cold drink into body temperature and then it tries to digest it but then body pays the price by producing gas, discomfort etc.If you can start drinking a hot beverage with your food to see the difference you may notice, gas and discomfort disappear. You may argue that a lot of people drink a cold beverage, that is true and they may suffer constipation, overweight and several health issues. You can drink ice cold beverage, 2 hours before or after consuming the meal but not with the meal.

Why is my stomach growling but I'm not hungry?

Mine does the same thing, I believe it is because of what you eat. I have grown accustomed to it over the years but when I want it to not be present (dates, sleeping with people, somewhere quiet) then I eat olives, I have found that they do wonders for settling of the stomach.I believe it is related to gas inside your body, another hint is to not hold in passing gas (farts, burping) that has helped me and I hope these help you.
