Stomach pain and diarrhea for 4 days. What can help?
I'm a female; 20 years old and I've been having weird stomach pains(not like cramping or anything, but the kind of pain you get when you have diarrhea. i don't know if that makes sense...) but anyway, for the past four days I've been experiencing stomach pain and diarrhea. Especially while I'm at work. I haven't been eating a lot because I'm afraid I'm going to get sick. It seems that almost every time I eat something I end up feeling sick to my stomach; no matter what it is. I've been smoking ciggs for about a year and a half, and I know this contributes to the problem, but ever since I was 17, my senior year in high school, I've been having trouble with my stomach and passing bowels a lot more frequently. I've been having a lot of anxiety for about 6 months now, but it's recently gotten worse after being in several car crashes. So could anxiety be part of the cause of what's going on with my stomach? I hate even going out anywhere 'cause I know I'm going to get sick to my stomach and it's embarassing. Any comments or advice on how to get rid of a stomachache/diarrhea??
Why every time I eat or drink my stomach hurts and I have diarrhea?
Hi Osnel, What you are asking for is an internet diagnosis. We can not give you that. We don’t know you, we don’t know your medical history, we don’t know what meds you may or may not be on, we don’t know what food you’re eating, how long this has been going on, and we have no ability to run any tests on you, like blood work to make sure that you’re not becoming dehydrated from the diarrhea. or if your electrolytes are out of whack. Most of us are not doctors. It can be a very dangerous thing to ask for medical questions answers from people you don’t know! Its not safe! What we can do is to tell you that what you’re describing is not normal and you need to see a doctor pretty darn quick. And the longer this has gone on means the quicker you need to see that doctor! I truly don’t understand why people seek medical advice online from people that they don’t know. I guess they’re trying to get a diagnosis and save money by not going to see a real doctor. Understand, dehydration can kill you quite quickly when you have diarrhea for a few days and don’t seek treatment for it. GO TO A DOCTOR! NOT now, but YESTERDAY!
Stomach pain with bad diarrhea going on 3 days after eating a subway sandwich?
It actually sounds much more like Food Poisoning. You need to be treated for this and yes, stay hydrated during this time. You need to be drinking Gatorade, Pedialyte (yes, I know it's for kids but it helps) and or water (flavored or not flavored). Your stomach is trying to tell you something and if it's food poisoning some times doctors will give you meds to stop the pain.
Stomach pain for 3 days...then diarrhea for 3 days...?
I had sharp persistent stomach pains for three days...then when the pain went away, I started having diarrhea. It's been three 3 days since the diarrhea started. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this before? What could it be? I won't be able to see the doctor until next week and would really appreciate any kind of input. Thank you!
Diarrhea and stomach pains?
Hello, for the past 3 days i've been having what I can only describe as bad stomach pains accompanied with a need to go to the toilet and it's always watery or in bits and it happens every hour to 2 hours or so. I've been fighting it off with strong painkillers but is this a case of bad diarrhea or should I be worried?
Why do my stomach/intestines hurt?
I doubt it is an appendicitis. Has your diet changed? It could be from eating too much and then becoming constipated. Also fried or fatty foods can cause problems. Another possibility is not drinking enough liquid. I would pay attention to what times of the day it hurts worse. Is it constant? Is it after meals? You do not say your age but taking digestive enzymes may help. If you are still able to run and have been doing it for a while, it probably is not related ot the running. If it continues then of course consult a doctor. Good luck
Why does eating McDonalds hurt my stomach?
Man, why do you eat it in a first place. They are called junk food for a reason you know! Eat more veggies attain a healthy lifestyle. Its a gimmick in the market to make people fat and lazy and unhealthy. Treat your body like a temple because you are its only worshipper.
If I've had diarrhea and stomach pains in the last few days, what can I eat from an Indian restaurant?
If you aren’t accustomed to Indian food, I would refrain to eating anything but a bland diet until things clear up for you. Once your digestive system settles down, you can introduce spicy foods no matter where the the country of orgin. The bigger question in my mind is what triggered your problems in the first place. Food born digestive problems typically manifest themselves within a few hours of injestion. Think back to before you felt ill and see if you can identify the culprit. As an aside, people often confuse flu like symptoms with what is actually food poisoning. Processed foods have more opportunity to pickup harmful pathogens and we are often lulled into thinking they are safer and don’t need rinsing. Salads in a bag are known to contain lysteria and other patogens so be smart and be careful.

Every few minutes there will be gurgling and then I have diarrhea. I don't know what it's from.. Any ideas? Could it be my ADD medicine? Could it be something I ate? I have taken pepto, but it's not doing anything.. Also the diarrhea is very, very watery. Almost like its just water with a brown color.. Please help.
Why does my stomach get upset after eating Indian food?
Typically homemade Indian food may not be as deadly on the digestive system as food in restaurants. I presume you have your problem because you have been eating out once too often. You would have noticed the emphasis on eating curd with an Indian meal in the form of plain yoghurt or buttermilk - sweet or salted, raitas of pineapple/boondi or dumplings (pakori or dahi wada) in yoghurt sauce. There is a reason for this. Yoghurt contains good gut bacteria which aids digestion and soothes the irritation the spices in the food cause. You should take care to have some non-spicy form of yoghurt (dahi) with an Indian meal (north/east/west/south). One more thing Indians do after a meal is to eat some digestive like Aniseed (sonf) or betel nut (supari) or betel leaf (paan). This helps digestion, too. So that is one more thing you could do to settle your stomach.Of course, the best thing to do would be to eat sensibly and order food after checking with the waiter and having less spicy things on the menu. And, don't forget the yoghurt, paan and, if all else fails, a sachet of good old Eno in a glass of water!
