My Two Year Child Is Not Any Eating After Cure Of Fever

Can a child get sick by eating play doh?

My daughter is 3 and we played with play doh yesterday, and while i was up doing something she ate some of it. Tonight she started throwing up and has a temp of 102. She can't keep anything down, not even water. Could it be from the play doh?

Is 99.3 considered a fever in a two year old?

99.3 isn't a fever in anyone. The temperature needs to be at least 100 to be considered a fever. In typical circumstances, doctors aren't even that worried unless the fever is over 103 and won't come down with Tylenol/Advil. I don't usually medicate my own kids unless their fevers are above 102 or they're particularly miserable.

That being said, if your son has a particular medical history, you should always consult his doctor about any health concerns.

Three year old child has zero rbc.urine colour coffee.Mild fever .Advise treatment?

I assume you've been to the doctor. But also, try WEBMD.com. I love that site. It's very informative and easy to navigate. Do they drink plenty of fluids? Dark urine is a sign of dehydration. Also, I'll keep this child in my prayers as I have two toddlers of my own.

My 4 yr old has a 102 fever, what should I do?

My daughter hasn't been sick since she was 2 years old so I don't know about what to do at this age. It's the third day of this. Fever spikes in afternoon and breaks in the middle of the night. She is keeping down fluids after vomiting on the first day. I have heard that a fever is the bodies way of fighting viruses but should I still give a fever reducer or just let it ride it's course? She doesn't complain of sore throat or have any rashes, but she does have a dry cough. Thanks in advance for any advice you have. We really want to avoid taking her to the doctor and exposing her to more germs while she is less tolerant.

My two-year old baby has a temperature of 103 degrees ...?

My question is now, what to do next? Should I go to the Hospital? Give her a cool bath? Continue to douse her with Children's Tylenol? What's your suggestion? A prompt answer would be much appreciated?

My 11 year old daughter woke up with a fever it is 102.3 now about two hours after tylenol.?

Ok...let's not jump to conclusions about allergic reactions. If it is an allergic reaction, difficulty breathing, rash, wheezing etc.. give benadryl and take her to the ER, but that likely isn't it. She likely has the beginnings of the flu or other viral infection. You can give tylenol every 4 hours. You can give ibuprofen every 6 hours. So here is what you do. Give a dose of ibuprofen, if in 4hr or so, give tylenol, and alternate as needed. If the ibuprofen works well for 6 hours, you don't need to give tylenol. Catch my drift?
You can use cool, damp towels or cool (not cold, and no alcohol) baths to help keep the fever down.
If she gets short of breath, stops eating for a long period of time, start vomiting/diarrhea for a long time, especially with decreased eating, you may need to take her to the ER for dehydration, but it isn't likely. Keep letting her eat and drink as much as she wants and see your doctor first chance on Monday.
Many health insurance plans have 24 hour nurse lines, these are typically pretty good and might relieve some of your anxiety.

A child drank spoiled milk, how can this be treated?

Probably nothing to worry about - be prepared for possible vomiting or diarrhea. If these become severe, or the child develops abdominal cramping or fever, or if it lasts longer than a couple of hours and the child can’t keep down water, contact the pediatrician. The danger would be dehydration, if they aren’t able to keep down any fluids.Quora isn’t a really good place to look to for medical help. There are sites which specialize in this, but I would rather call the doctor’s office and get advice from the nurse or the doctor.Hope this helps!
