My Vision Doctor Told Me The Lines On My Eye Lids Are Cholestrol Lines. Has Anyone Had Them Removed

How do you prevent having an erection after a circumcision?

The easiest way to prevent erections after a circumcision is not to be circumcised in the first place!

You do not need to be circumcised just because you have a tight foreskin and, according to you, cant pull the foreskin back. Who ever told you such a load of rubbish!!!

The foreskin offers you protection against physical damage and infection, so why would you want to get trid of it? Would you cut off your eyelids just because you get grit in your eye? I doubt it, because you realise the natural protection that your eyelids provide. Same with your foreskin.

It is totally possible to live like millions of other men who have tight foreskins (myself included). They can masturbate or have sex. They can father children or engage in same sex relationships. They can live a life free of the devastating problems caused by circumcision, which is, by the way, a rather serious and dangerous medical procedure that results in numerous damaged penises and even death. And, as I said, there are millions of guys just like you making your "problem" quite normal after all.

All you suffer from is misinformation.

Rethink your problem before it is too late. Your foreskin is a very valuable asset and you really need to guard it with your life.

How can I get rid of the hard small pimples under my eyes that cannot be popped?

Hello Ronald and thanks for the A2A!If you’re asking about clusters of bumps in the under eye area, it could be milia. They are keratin filled. There are several schools of thought on how to remove them to include leaving them alone.I’ve requested Dr. J. Lawrence Dohan , Dermatologist to answer your question. Hopefully he’ll have time to stop by. In the meantime I’ll look through some medical sources over the next few days and see what I can find for you. Having said that, advice from a physician with an MD behind their name, especially a Dermatologist, trumps all others who provide answers.Ronald, the TOPIC of your question is ACNE. You’re not talking about acne under your eyes right? These are hard bumps that kind of look like pimples but without a head….correct? It’s an important distinction because the TOPIC should be under Dermatology and Skin Care. I’ve added both but I also see Quora bots removed them once already. Please reply to this so we know where your question should be posted to get the best answers. Thanks! ~~Carol~~Carol

I have small, white bumps on my eyelids?

I've had the same problem recently, one on each eyelid - very small white nodule or bump.

I've found three possible answers.

1) Whitehead.
2) Sty or Cyst
3) Sign of high cholesterol

Whiteheads don't seem to be logical, not on the eyelid - too many people have posted questions on the internet for these little white spots. Some maybe, but most probably arent. Sty or Cyst, from the articles I've found these seem to appear near the eyelash or edge of the eyelid and sometimes get larger with time and require prescription or short medical procedure to remove. Mine have not - one appeared maybe 6 weeks ago the other a few weeks. Finally, a sign of high cholesterol - I do not know what the medical term would be if this is the case, but I know that my doctor told me that I had high cholesterol - which is odd because I'm 21 and my other vitals are normal. My ex's mother had similar bump on her eyelid which she said was from high cholesterol, but she was in her 40s.

The answers I have found suggest applying over the counter ointment twice a day and see if you get any results. This will probably cause dryskin on your eyelids so applying a bit of moisturizer before bed would prevent that from happening. If you have no results and there are no side-effects from the bump, it does not get larger, there is no swollen area, puffiness or redness then it is most likely caused due to high cholesterol or something your dermatologist may be able to clear up.

I know this isn't a direct and solid answer, I have some medical knowledge but most of what I just said I have found multiple times across many different Q & A's both medical sites and "yahoo answer" type websites and of course from personal experience.

Definitely look forward to any other responses to this, that prove or disprove what I have replied. Would also like to know the medical terminology used to describe small white nodules, such as these, caused by high cholesterol.

I have brown eyes and I have noticed that I have a blue ring around my eyes. What is it?

Tim Kaye has already mentioned the possibility of an Arcus Senilis that could be related to high serum cholesterol levels. Another more remote possibility is that it could be a Kayser-Fleischer Ring that is an ocular sign of Wilson’s Disease that leads to accumulation of copper in the brain, liver, and other organs.Chances are you’re fine (neither of these rings are usually blue) and there are plenty of people with multicoloured irises. Sometimes these become more noticeable when you get older, sometimes they fade with age. You should see your doctor to make sure. Good luck!
