it's called a head rush, you are probably getting up too fast which increases the blood flow to the brain. If you are not eating or enough or drinking enough water that can cause that as well. Just learn to rise a little more slowly and you should be able to make it stop.If you are not eating enough or drinking enough water give that a try as well.
Blurred vision when I stand up?
Hello I am 15 yours old and recently I have had this weird problem whenever I stand up my vision will kind of go blurry for up to five seconds. I don't stand up really fast or anything, I just get up of a chair or out of bed, and about 2 seconds latter I get this weird pain in my head and my vision will start to go blurry with all these colours and shapes for as I said up to 5 seconds. Then it just goes back to normal and I am fine, so what do you think this could be? I will just say thank you in advance.

Hey, Im a 15 year old male. And Ive notice sometimes when I get up I feel dizzy, and vision can be foggy. Now today I got up this was a bad one, I had to stop walking reach out and grab something for support, and my vision was almost completly black, and it came back within 10 seconds... State/history of health - Normal weight, exercise, not sick often, dont smoke, drink, or use drugs... So what is the matter? Thanks!

It could be from standing up too quickly a sudden drop in blood pressure can cause you to have these symptoms . to find out if this is the case have somenoe take your blood pressure lying down, sitting then standing and compare the readings . you can take them to your dr with you.

It can be dangerous because of the chance of injury if you do pass out. Blood sugars cannot be related to this because of the positional nature.
