My xbox original controller is not working?
I think the cord may be a little pulled out of the socket in the controller and now I always have to move around untill I find the position it will work with but that only works rarely and when it does it takes about an hour to do and if I slightly move the gamewill tell me to re-connect the controller.
Will Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii controllers work through walls?
I'm building a home theatre room and hope to put all of my equipment in an ajoining room to minimize noise and heat in the theatre. I was wondering if my game console controllers will work through the wall that divides the spaces. It will be soundproofed with green glue and cork if that makes a difference.
Why wont my xbox 360 shut down right?
Alright. The reason it takes a little while to shut down is because it is just saving everything and getting ready to shutdown, just like a computer. Its natural. Mine does it too. And with the freezing, you have to hold down the power button until it shuts down, like a computer that freezes. If you want it to shut down faster, delete some of the stuff or put it on Memory devices via the memory port next to the disk drive. You have an Elite so there is no bigger hard drive to get, if you have alot of space taken up on the hard drive, delete some or put it on memory cards. More hard drive space = longer shutdown/startup time, just like a computer.
Updating Xbox games via PC and then transfer to Xbox with USB?
The title says most of it..... Is it possible?? Here is my story...:-) I have been trying to update battlefield 3 on PS3 (2GB update on a capped 3G contract) and it keeps failing. First it downloaded 100% then the ps3 froze even before installing. Second time it failed at 73% downloaded. Third time it failed at 45%. Now last night it downloaded 100% and then failed while it was trying to install. So last night I decided to give the Xbox a shot... Before I actually go out and buy an Xbox, I would like to find out if I can actually do what the title explains. The reasons why is because the 3G signal is not all that stable and often gets disconnected and well, it's capped.... If it is possible to transfer updates via USB I would download the updates at university on their WiFi for free.... Also, I tried PS3 proxy but once I set up the proxy I can't connect to the internet on the PS3. (if you don't know what PS3 proxy is, it is a program that captures the link the PS3 calls for game updates allowing you to download the update on your PC and then trick your PS3 into downloading the update from your PC over a network) Any help or tips would be appreciated or any comments on the Xbox console. I will also be keeping my ps3 mainly for gran turismo 5 and I have always wanted an Xbox for the sole purpose of trying out Forza 4, if I do buy a Xbox I will then also use it to play BF3 and MW3..
