Which Nancy Drew games are compatible with Macs?
The games began to be compatible starting with Trail of the Twister. So, Trail of the Twister, Secrets Can Kill Remastered, Shadow at the Water's Edge, The Captive Curse, Alibi in Ashes and all future games will be compatible with Mac.
Nancy Drew on MacBook?
So, sadly I just figured out I can't play my older Nancy Drew games on my new MacBook Pro (with retina display). I am wondering now exactly which Nancy Drew games I can play on my MacBook? People say the more newer games but does anyone know exactly every game I can play on here? Like how far can I go back in the games and be able to play them on my MacBook? Thanks! :)

Classy. You didn't mention which game it was - there are only three games that work on the Mac: Trail of the Twister, Secrets Can Kill Remastered, and Shadow at the Water's Edge. Any other game, and you're out of luck. If it's one of those, and it's still not working, go to http://www.herinteractive.com and look through their tech support.
Can I play older Nancy Drew PC games on a Mac through Windows Parellels desktop 8?
I've been buying Nancy Drew PC games since I was about 12 years old, I'm 19 now and actually still really love playing them. Back then I used my dad's PC but now I'm living on my own in a completely different state and I own a Macbook Pro version 10.8.2 I recently found a program called Parallels 8 which allows you to run Windows on your mac. If I were to download that, could I play the older ND games like Ghost Dogs on Moon Lake and Secret of the Scarlet Hand? I have every CD since the original Secrets Can Kill all the way up to Warning at Waverly Place. That's 21 games... priced at 20$ each, I've spent over 400$ on these games, and I'd hate for them to go to waste. If they can't be run on Parallels 8, does anyone know of a Windows program that CAN run them? Thank you so much(:
Do PC games run on macbook? And what about boot camp?
I have just bought a macbook for school. But I would like to play games on it occasionally. I have the PC games such as Nancy Drew, Sims 2, Age of Empires III, etc. And I would hate to have to buy those just for mac. I know that boot camp can run Windows and such, but I am afraid that it will slow down my hard drive since I only have the minimal macbook. I was told that maybe I could download boot camp only on an external hard drive. Would that work? Or is there a better idea? Or should I just download boot camp to my macbook?
