Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Healthy To Eat

Is it okay to eat an expired Natura Valley Crunchy granola bar?

I got a Nature Valley Crunchy granola bar for breakfast this morning (the kind that come two to a package) and after a couple of bites I realized that it was pretty hard and didn't have quite the right flavor. I kept eating it until the one bar was gone and then I checked the expiration date. It expired 18 months ago. I'm worried! I didn't eat the second bar but is that okay?

Are nature valley granola bars healthy?

Of course. Anything food companies want to purposefully sell you labelling it as healthy or natural is indeed good for your body.

Reality is pretty simple and nice. There are no hidden intentions or ulterior motives. The world is not insidious and doesn't want to get your money by any means.

Now excuse me as I interrupt this nice exchange of ideas to go buy some food and give it to those who truly need it. I'll be riding my pink winged unicorn on my way there.

Are Nature Valley Granola Bars healthy? I eat 1 everyday.....? 10 points BEST ANSWER!!!!!!!!?

NV is one of the best bars out there, they are very healthy and something that i recomend people to eat when they want a quck bar and dont want candy. The only other kinds i would put out there to go with them are the Back to Nature ones and the Kashi ones as well. They all have what you nead for a quick snack and you are wanting to stay healthy, there are no bad things in them. So eat up and have fun!

Are those Crunchy nature valley bars healthy?

I think you should eat more than one of those bars for lunch! First of all, it's only 180-190 calories.

Second, it's FULL of sugar! It's a bad thing to eat for lunch!!

Have a carb and a protein and healthy fat at lunch.

Is Nature Valley Granola bar one of the healthiest bar?

I did some research and i came across this granola bar. I bet this is one of the healthiest bar i could find. The Nature Valley Crunchy (NOT CHEWY!) Granola Bar.

I know, i know... "Granola bars are unhealthy! They contains too much sugar! You're better off with just plain nuts and fruits!".

But i love granola bar, it makes a good grab-n-go breakfast (well, at least to me) and a great snack to nibble. At least that's better than eating doughnut and chocolate. I love granola bar so much, i really love eating it but i'm gonna make sure that i'm not eating a crappy one.

I've checked the nutritional facts. There's 160-190 calories in TWO bars, which makes 80-95 calories in ONE bar. There's 6-7g fats and 0g trans fat. So i moved on to make sure there's really 0g of trans fat. I looked at the ingredient list, no hydrogen stuff. Yup, no hydrogen, no trans fat.

The Nature Valley Granola bar only contains 10-12 ingredients unlike some bars which contains more than 20-30 ingredients. No high-fructose corn syrup was listed and wow, there's 16g of whole grain!

Sadly, there's 11g of sugar, only 2-3g of fibre, 26-28g carbs and 2-3g protein (this is not a protein bar!) in TWO bars.

But other than that, all is good.

Now, back to my question. Is Nature Valley Granola bar (i prefer the apple crisp 160 calories and the peanut butter 190 calories) healthy?

Does anyone else eat Nature Valley crunchy granola bars in milk, like cereal?

I can see why you deiced to try them in milk (like cereal) since the crunchy ones are so crunchy I feel like I will break a filling. My dogs like them quite a bit..I think they think they are FOR dogs. If/when I open one and eat it in front of them, they look at me as if I've stolen their kibble.

I really like Quaker Oats cluster Granola..it's very VERY good. One has dried fruits and the other just plain but it's a 'must have' for me. Great in yogurt, as cereal, on salads even. I've thrown it into cookie dough and topped deserts with it.

What are the health benefits of eating Nature Valley granola bars?

None. This is basically a candy bar in deceptive “healthy” wrapping. Oats are generally considered healthy, but then they add sugar to the granola bars to make it taste better, so you’re basically eating sugar-sweetened breakfast cereal.Quite frankly the only thing about oats that is a nutritional benefit is they are high in fiber, and you would be better off getting your fiber requirements from non-starchy vegetables.

Nature Valley oats and honey healthy?

anything thats not deep fried will help you loose weight, as long as you exercise.

Can i eat the CRUNCHY Nature Valley Bars with Braces?

I wouldn't recommend it. They are definitely hard enough to loosen the metal from the cement. I had it happen with the strangest things, food even softer than that. If you don't want to go to the orthodontist early for a replacement, I would say put the granola bar back in the box. ;0)
