Need Advice For Ff Team Improvment

How do I get rid of my native accent and get an American accent?

Naturally, it's possible for anybody to pick up any accent. Now, what you need to do is try to sound like an American naturally, but not to copy them. How do you do this? Our team, as an English teachers, have noticed that the reason we sound differently is the articulators are used differently. For example, when you say the letter "t" as in a word "shut", your tongue should touch the backside of your gum ridge (tooth ridge), but not the backside of your upper teeth. That's how Americans use their articulators ( tongue, lips, uvula, etc.) , in other words their tongues touch the backside of their upper gum-ridges. Interestingly, russians and turkish people's tongues touch the backside of their upper teeth, not the gum ridge, when they say that "t". Thus they sound  different. D, N, T, L, these letters are pronounced in the same way as described above. So, whenever you say any of these letters, do not forget to control your tongue to touch the backside of your gum ridge. W vs V. In many languages, these letters pronounced differently, and most of the languages do not have any letter that would sound like the English "w". So, if your language is also one of them, then what you need to do is just to say the letter "v" by keeping your lips circular. Voila, now you're sounding like an American, at least when you say the letter "w". And the letter "v" itself is pronounced differently in Russian and English. Russians often times say it like "ff" and they don't even notice it, while Americans almost always say it as "v" but not "ff". U vs У ( Russian "u"). When you say "put", "good" or "would", what sound do you make with "u", "oo" and "ou"? And most importantly, how do you use your articulators (tongue, lips, etc.)? We don't really pay attention to how we use them. If you say "u" in Russian, your lips are circular, in english they are horizontal. By simply knowing this, you could start sounding like an American right away.I could go on with every letter, but the idea I want to pass on is... I guess you got it, right? If not, what you need to do is just keep asking Americans this question: 'Where does your tongue touch when you say "here goes the letter" ?' And just pay great attention to their lips and what form do they take when they say certain letters. So, pick your American Accent by learning every letter.

How do I improve efficiently in CSGO?

Going from LE to LEM is going to be realllyyyy hard. Since you are clearly educated and experienced with the game, I’d like to recommend a few things I did while at that rank that helped me improve.Skill is 50% Knowledge, 30% Positioning, and 20% Aim.If you are anything like me, you’ll happily go balls deep at any aim duel that presents itself. You’ll peek the enemy repeatedly until one of you dies.STOP IT.Stop trying to be the hero, and stop going for crazy plays. Stop trying to solo clear site at the start of the round just for the hell of it. Sit back, capitalize off of the imperfections in smokes, and wait for them to make a mistake. Stop using your aim as a crutch, and learn how to slow down your game.I overcame this by mentally calculating the risk/ reward of plays. If I’m holding B on a cache default (T side), and I decide to push against an eco, what is the risk/ reward?PRO: I could get a kill or two, and possibly clear site.CON: I could get overwhelmed, Die, open a gap in my team’s defense, give the money deprived CT’s a rifle, as well as map control.^ Do that before you decide to make a play.Send a friend request to the best players, and start playing ONLY in lobbies. You’ll never make it solo-queuing, so you need to play in lobbies with other players. “But who?”Add the best players. Add the other team’s top fragger. Add the dude on your team with insane knowledge and aim.If you’re as good as you say you are, you shouldn’t have any problems with them accepting. If you play with/ against better players, you will rise to their level as well. That, and bitcoin mining, is the premise of ESEA.Here’s some other things:Don’t aim train too much. You’ll wear yourself out, and you won’t be able to perform well.Warm-ups shouldn't exceed 1 hour. (See point 1)Stop force buying upgraded secondary pistols.Start buying Molotov's instead of HE grenades if you don’t already.Learn how to proper expend your utility.Stop forcing decoys on pistol round. It’s a waste.Don’t re-purchase armor if it’s over 60%Try to avoid the galil, p90, Scout, Famas, and Shotguns (unless appropriate). No dualies or autos. Negev's are for the last rounds ONLY.Don’t be a loser, buy a defuser.Above all, have fun.Participating in ESEA and CEVO leagues are amazing. Playing on a legitimate 5 man roster is probably the most beneficial thing one w/ experience can do.

I am a beginner in volleyball. What advice can you give to help me improve my game?

As a beginner, you should focus on three out of six main techniques, serve receive(passing your opponents serve), spiking, and serving. Of all the volleyball techniques, we can break it down to three main components, eye sequence (Watching the ball, tracking the ball with your eyes), footwork(smart feet can give you range whether if you are attacking the ball or playing defense), and hands, (What you do with your hands are important, and your hands are probably the smartest part of the body because most of us use our hands to do daily stuff). Technically, you want to train the three components separately. Learn to activate your  eyes and really focus on the ball. Then train the appropriate footwork associated with each individual technique, like shuffle steps for serve receive, approaches for hitting, etc. Then train the appropriate handwork like platform for serve receive and arm swings for spiking. Then you want to combine all three because you want to be as fluid and graceful as possible when executing each technique, this will allow you to have better control and more efficient movement on the courts. The reason to focus on those specific four techniques are:You can play a decent game and be a decent player once those fundamentals are solid.  At first, you don't need to worry about blocking and setting too much because those techniques are the hardest to learn to beginners, once you get the idea of receiving the ball to the setter, and hitting your setters ball, you will develop your spatial awareness and a better understanding of the game, and then you can start to learn setting or blocking. As for digging or playing defense, that comes with loads and loads of repetition because the speed of the ball is coming at you so fast that you really do not have time to think about it.

What does "RS" mean on a football roster?

Redshirt

that is a player in college (usally a freshman) who is taking a year off but still practice with the team. His next year he will be a redshirt freshman meaning he will spend 5 years in college.

Some schools do this to save a player if they are not needed right away
