Need Help Applying For A Job

Need help with job application?

I've researched the industry very thoroughly and although I found three companies that I feel best exemplify what I'm looking to achieve, your company is clearly at the head of that list.

Now, I say that hoping you aren't applying to McDonalds

I'm applying for a job at a company, Need help with a question!!?

It's asking if you signed something at your last employer that might prohibit you from working for one of the competitors of your previous company, or maybe your previous employment might have put you ina position where workig for the new employer might involve conflict-of-interest (e.g., you were perviously involved in a position wher you affected financial decisions that might be somehow connected with the new employer). Since you're apparently a rather young person, or are so unsophisticated as to not understand this, you should be able to answer "NO" with no worry at all. It certainly doesn't apply to YOU.

I need help with job application?

I'm planning to apply for Yogurtland and I really want a job so I want to do my best and do everything right. However, since I never had any job experiences before I need a little help with the process.

1. What should I put for "Position Desired"? Storefront, sales associate, team worker, cashier, etc. ?

2. What would I put for "Desired Salary"? Is putting down the minimum wage okay ($8.00/hr)? Or should I put something like negotiable?

3. For the "Work Experience" section should I leave it blank because I never had any official previous jobs. ): I did however use to work at my high school's student store when I was a sophomore. I did get paid but in student store credit. So it wasn't really an official job and also that was 4 years ago. -___- I also worked at a Japanese market last summer but it was only for a day because they just needed extra help for an event.

4. Who can I put for "References"? The only people I have are family and friends so I don't know what I can put.

I really appreciate the help because I really need a job this summer. I don't want to stay home and let my brain rot. D:

Need help with job application.?

That probably isn't a required question. If you can skip it, go ahead and leave it blank. It's just a formality that is more for people that are applying for management or that have resumes. For what you're applying for, you don't have to worry about it.

However, if you have to, put N/A, which stands for 'not available'. They will understand and won't hold it over your head.

Best of luck! :)

I need help Filling Out A Job Application?

If you know which position you're specifically applying for, such as sales or customer service, you may state that. Otherwise you're best bet is to put "open", this way you'll be considered for other positions as well. In terms of salary, since it's your first job you definitely want to write "open" in this section too. Worse case scenario you may get minimum wage but on the flip side, if they're willing to pay you more, then at least you don't undersell yourself.
If you're not currently attending school for a specific major, you can write "General studies" in the 'Degree/ Study' section.
Here are some tips for your interview(s);
Be honest and sincere with your answers. Some great words to use to describe yourself: team player, reliable, trustworthy, quick learner, take direction well. Good luck!

Currently Attending High School and Applying for Job (I need help on what to answer for a certain question)?

Well, I'm applying for a job at Vons Grocery Store and I got to the page where you have to mention your school. I'm currently attending high school, but it will not allow me to answer that I am attending presently (as in, I have to put in the actual date starting and ending date of attendance). Should I just put the present date?

Next, I have to submit the following information:

Did you graduate?

Highest Level Completed:

Did you receive a diploma or equivalent (GED for high school, diploma for college, etc.)?

Did you attend another school?

Do I just answer that I did not graduate? I mean, I don't want to make it sound like I don't plan on graduating.

Any who, thanks for any help that you can give. :)
